We booked for our sons birthday.the atmosphere was good as was the service we had a very pleasant relaxed meal and werenât rushed. The food was cooked fresh which gave us time to have a rest between courses and socialise. The whole experience was one which we shall definitely repeat. The food was exceptional and cooked to perfection.

We go there a lot, but their seafood salad is superb, fresh and delicious, everything cut up exquisitely, and teamed with a portion of fresh crunchy chips, what more could you want, always have a array of delicious desserts, their trifle is sublime, flavoured with sherry, it goes down a treat, then followed by a port, the best end to a fantastic meal, throughly recommend and will return

Well very disappointed, fish perfect but Iâve never tasted or had such horrible chips, oily, tasted oily, cold and soft. I have used this shop for years and itâs always lived up to its awards but not now. Shame Thank you for your review Iâm glad to hear that you have been using us for many years and we have always lived up to expectations but Iâm also sorry to hear about your experience with us last time you came in I can only say that we are at the moment frying new potatoes which are slightly different texture to the main crop which is from September to June . I hope this wonât affect you coming back to us again and to use us for many more years please do not worry about getting in contact with Jack at the shop and ask to speak to him as he would love to put this right for you thank you

We are regulars at the Ocean Fish Bar, more or less ever since it first opened. You can ALWAYS guarantee a superb fish and chip meal from here, and generally a good laugh with the staff. Happy New Year to you all, We'll see you in 2019
