We had a large family group celebrating a graduation event at Mitchel House. Excellent food: steak on the stone, salmon, fish cakes, desserts, all great, nice wine and comfortable ambience. Helpful and friendly staff, great service. Great choice for a meal in Thurles

We offer a sophisticated dining experience for those seeking to explore beyond the ordinary and discover the full potential of an Indian restaurant in Thurles, Tipperary. So please, let us take you on a tantalising journey across the different regions of Indian subcontinent to present a superb combination of vibrant dishes freshly prepared using the finest ingredients to create rich authentic flavours.
The staff make one at ease as soon as you enter. From then on the service is both very attentive and unobtrusive. This was our first visit here even though we know the restaurant of the same name in Dublin. Thurles menu is fairly similar but the quality of the food which is presented is of a much higher order. The lamb may have been a little tough but I thought that the chicken made up for it. We will go again soon as I need to try their Biryani.

Family evening meal for 4 + 1 child.
I had eaten at Parkers a year or so ago and thought it was good but not great, a little forgettable.
Not sure what has changed, very possibly the chef but the experience last night was not forgettable and the food was great. The key difference for me was that quality of the food, both ingredients and cooking. Everything was clearly made fresh and using fresh produce. No Frozen cheap stuff that so many restaurants cut corners with.
Good choice of dishes on the menu.
It's a nice place to be and the staff are very attentive. I thought the price very reasonable.

Beautifully decorated Restaurant..a real friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter. The waitresses were very pleasant and friendly... very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the food on it.. Service was prompt. Food was out of this world and very reasonable. The owner Lorraine came to our table and welcomed us and checked to make sure we were ok. We definitely will be back! Bar & Restaurant with Function Rooms and Meeting Rooms. Donal & Rose Younge are the owners and there is Dancing every Thursday night.
Was staying at nearby Killahara Castle and the Ragg provided fantastic catering. Easily the best food we ate while in Ireland. Chef Sean knocked Beef Wellington (a special request from us) out of the park.
Went to the pub itself on Sunday evening and it was warm and cozy and charming.

This was our second visit in 8 days. Both meals were delicious. First visit I had the goats cheese starter which was very tasty and that was accompanied by brown and white bread, both freshly baked. Sea bass was plentiful and in a lovely sauce. They serve the main course with plenty of veg, mash, chips and delicious garlic potatoes. Lemon tart is my favourite dessert so I was very happy to see it on the menu. Had the citrus sorbet for starters on our second visit and that was very refreshing on a warm evening. And went for the sea bass again. I had a taste of the fillet steak and it was really good too. Hadnt room for dessert this time. Enjoyed the lovely views across the golf course. Staff are good but unobtrusive. It's great to have such a good restaurant on our doorstep.

This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Thurles. The food is unreal and the portions are very generous. The decor is just fab, its so unique with lots of little trinkets and old pictures around the place. Its very homely, like stepping into your grandmothers kitchen many years ago.

I have eaten in Noel Ryans on numerous occasions and it never fails. I know some of you will say that there has to be something to complain about but to be honest there isn't. It's great food kept simple with there own little touches thrown in. I love the breads which are baked by their own chef, just top class. On the bar menu I have to lean towards the homemade burger and in the restaurant I'm going to say that their beef is always top drawer. It's good quality food at fair prices and served by very friendly staff. It's a winner for me.

Inch House restaurant is set in a Georgian house dated 1720. The restaurant is operating for just over 20 years and is a unique experience. It is renowned for its welcome, service and use of top quality local and Irish food.
The Templemore Arms Hotel is a well established hotel offering a great range of facilities from a cuppa to party/conference room and lovely bedrooms. The best thing is probably the staff in so far as, ask Dan and his employees for anything and he will do his very best to accommodate you. The arms is always on my list for a decent place to get good food at a reasonable price.

I am still looking for a more authentic Chinese restaurant so after hearing a recommendation for Kambo I visited there for a meal last week.
Staff were fine and attentive, good variety on menu, usual Chinese food prices and when mine arrived it was tasty.
So not bad, but not what I'm looking for, too westernized and Chinese tea, was a Jasmine teabag in a stainless steel teapot! That just spoilt it for me I'm afraid.
