I´ve been invited on business and had a great time. We were served all kinds of tapas. I thought each one of them was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian option and was quite surprised that they had so many vegetarian options, since the big majority of our group were meat lovers.Service was attentive and efficient, the wine was tasty, too. I was just wondering how small the restaurant area was compared to the kitchen (which you can peek in on the way to the toilets).

I visited Erfurt a couple of times and the Charleston restaurant is one of my point of reference.Quality food and service. Good Italian wines directly chosen by Maurizio, the owner. Nice to talk to him. Worth a visit. It's a must, I'd say.

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who lives in Erfurt. It's an intimate Italian but the choice of food, wines and overall service is excellent. We have never seen a "Prosecco of the day" before so tried that. The food is excellent Italian bistro style and extremely fresh tasting. They grate black truffle at the table, too. It seems popular for lone diners, couples and a hen party, so a real ,is of people. Waiting staff are extremely polite and certainly made it an enjoyable experience,

I have been to Erfurt on many occasions, yet never found a restaurant that I really liked...until La Grappa!! Friends and I arrived late and chose to sit inside rather than outside, although there were still several tables occupied, under large umbrellas, on a quiet street. The welcome was most friendly, as was the service, and the food was delicious, with a large selection of pastas, meats, fish and salads. We had a starter of antipasti that was varied and very tasty, and as a main course I had the Saltimbocca a la Romana, which was one of the best I have had. A great selection of wines was available, and when we left, all agreed that this had been a memorable experience that we hope to repeat soon at La Grappa!

A pleasant dinner (2 different versions of pork medallions) generous portions, very nicely cooked - and service "fair" but nothing special. Wines and beer also good. All at reasonable prices. However having received the bill and paying by card the waiter concerned (who had no role in serving us) held out his purse expecting an additional tip! The management need to get a grip on that practice.

Enjoyed two meals here today after a dreadful experience at Il Ponte (restaurant opposite)the other day (do not go there under any circumstances!). This was the total opposite, friendly effusive staff with great authentic Italian food, wonderful pasta and lovely thin pizzas along with a decent range of classic Italian favourites. We particularly enjoyed the seafood pasta and the salad capresi. The veal escalope Milanese was also delicious with lovely selection of fresh veggies and lightly sautéed potatoes on the side. Good reasonably priced house wines, partularly enjoyed the Pinot Grigio, Prosecco and Montalpulciano. Great desserts would recommend the Tirimasu and the chocolate soufflé. Great value much cheaper than Il Ponte opposite (where I noticed the owner chasing some other customers who had walked out after presumably having another poor experience there! ). Donât even consider going anywhere else -La Piazzetta will fit the bill perfectly and youâll enjoy it and at a reasonable price.

We arrived at 18:30 on a Thurs without a reservation and they kindly gave us a table until 20:00. Service was excellent. We chose a scallop starter and then a whole dorado and veal with what I believe was a faro risotto. The food was cooked to perfection with nice flavor combinations, simple and clean. With drinks for two, the total was around Euro 90.
