As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by two large dogs. I knew right then that I'd love this place! There were musicians setting up for a performance later that evening, but we didn't stick around to listen. You ordered at the counter and they deliver the food. I had the pork loin special with apple chutney. It was fork tender and the apple chutney was perfectly seasoned. The only issue was that they served it in a plastic basket with waxed paper liner. Pork loin and apple chutney do not work well like that. The paper disintegrated and it was impossible to cut off a piece. So owners, if you read this, I'd recommend serving the pork loin on a plate! The others had sandwiches which they enjoyed. This is definitely a no-frills type place and don't expect much besides sandwiches and chips. They were offering only 1 daily special the day we visited and the rest of the menu was sandwiches. But it was good quality and a fun building.

We stopped in here for supper after the employees at the Trailhead Coffee Shop across the street recommended it. They said the owner is vegetarian and it was evident with the vegetarian options available. This is a burrito place and that's pretty much all they serve. They do have some fun combinations and the burritos were HUGE! I couldn't eat all of mine. I liked it and would recommend checking it our for an inexpensive, filling meal.

Coffeebar. Edibles. Spirits. Specialty Coffee Roasted by Forty Weight Coffee (Given that our menu changes weekly and by season, expect origin offerings from the regions of Latin American, East Africa and the Pacific Rim to rotate and blow your flavor palate with international notes, that beckon you to discern what exactly is brewing in your cup!)Fresh Baked Pastries, Fine Wine & Beer, Small Batch Craft Spirits, Bean to Bar Chocolate Gallery,Friday Burger Nights.
A unique atmosphere and with a strong earthy vibe. They have quality ingredients (organic yogurt, grass fed beef, etc). but a limited menu. Mimosa and bloody mary bar with brunch on Sundays starting at 10 am. Good service. Coffee was good. You are not going to get a run of the mill breakfast sandwich or steak and eggs but, if you are prepared going in, you won't be disappointed. It is a bit pricey, $4 for a latte and around $6-$15 for food. We spent over $30 in just a quick stop.

Love stopping by the ice cream shop after dinner at least once every year we visit. So many flavors and items to choose from. Try the black raspberry flavor burst. Tried for my first time thus year.

Cooked-from-scratch country breakfast with healthy options and weekend seasonal specials. Well know for a variety of creative pancakes and egg dishes and hearty standards such as biscuit and sausage gravy. Also serving numerous vegetarian options including huevos rancheros and a quinoa veggie egg scramblers. Frequent weekend specials serving local foods in season.
We stayed a couple of nights while work was being done at a family property in Timberline. Susan was a wonderful hostess and really took care of us. The rooms were very comfy and well equipped. There was a convenient refrigerator in the hall. Breakfast...MoreThanks for the review Larry. Enjoyed having you and glad you liked the inn and our breakfast. Good luck with your renovation.

The restaurant does not have a website, but it is mentioned in a news article here (http://wboy.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=71706), and on a directory here (http://www.wvfarm2u.org/buy-local/restaurant/Flying-Pigs-Breakfast---Lunchery,NVTscGYPGqk%3D.aspx).
House rules: Cash or approved check only!! No credit cards. Whole table on one check.
Otherwise a friendly, down home eatery with made from scratch home cooking and locally sourced supplies. We stopped in for breakfast and found a nice selection of standard items as well as platters. My only bad comment was that my eggs came out over medium-hard rather than over easy, but the cook should get one free pass. Breakfast served all day from 8 AM on. The lunch menu looked good. A pleasant place to stop for a bite while doing the many little shops of downtown Thomas.

We stopped here after our sons basketball game. Upon walking in the place was very full. The service was good and the food was also good. We got the pizza, which is hard to mess up. I have had better and I have had worse. Prices were average. I would try it again. The bathrooms were kind of dirty. The restaurant is very eclectic with odd signs and knick knacks all over the place.

Serving only breakfast and lunch, this unassuming store-front restaurant has wonderful food. I had the Artichoke Heart Quesadilla with artichoke hearts, cheddar cheese, kalamata olives and walnuts. My friend had a very well-stuffed hummus wrap. There were homemade desserts also, which we didn't try.
Sorry folks, no pictures. I was so hungry, and it looked so good, I forgot.

I've tried them all and trust me, it's delicious!
First time visiting this brewery and enjoyed a few selections from the chalkboard.
Stumptown has a great atmosphere with bar seating, hi-Tops, and even 2 rockets in front of the fireplace.
Much better than the Blackwater Brewing Co just up the street.
It would have been nice on a beautiful day like I visited, to sit outside and enjoy the selection but they do not have an outdoor patio... maybe next time!
I can't speak to the food selection or even if they have a menu. I believe they were offering a limited menu of pulled pork sliders. The hard pretzels were plentiful and suited me fine.

A San Francisco or Boulder Neighborhood Grocer
Neighborhood Grocers merit attention.
We visit Front Street Grocers upon arrival for our Annual Ski Week. We find excellent fresh produce, flowers, wines, et al.
Parking may be limited, and a short hike away.
We recommend.
