Sean was awesomely the best of the bestest - very highly recommended!!! We toured Valparaiso and Vina del Mar with him, and he dropped us off at Santiago for our cruise embarkation the following day. That was our first trip to South America - our pre-cruise tour, as we cruised Chile, Antarctica, Falkland Islands, Argentina, Uruguay - still so many places to explore in this area. We will definitely come back, and use Sean's company again...

Wonderful hike, starting with a viewpoint on Isla Seca, where you can visit the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve viewed. Discover hidden beaches suitable for swimming, through a 2-hour walking path, always next to the Pacific Ocean, starting in Cachagua and ending in Zapallar. Be amazed by one of the most beautiful walks in the central area, the trail is considered one of the most inspiring works of architecture on the Chilean coast. It has tourist visits and waters full of marine fauna, you can get to see the Chungungo, a native Chilean otter, starfish, fish and shellfish. Recommended for families and adventurous people who want to get out of the city and discover a unique and beautiful place, full of tranquility on the shores of the Pacific. * beginning of the walk in Cachagua, where we will visit Las Cujas Beach * Three-hour walk where you can observe the "island of the penguins" and diverse flora and fauna typical of the central coastal area of Chile * We finish in Zapallar

I wish I could be writing a review on the tour itself, but it never happened. I received email confirmation from TripAdvisor that the tour would happen and that my pick-up time was from 6:30-7:30 AM. I waited until 7:55. I emailed them and sent them a message via WhatsApp. No communication. I expect a full refund.

Amazing tour where we will take you to the coasts cities of Zapallar and Cachagua, located 2 hours from Santiago. Once there we will get on a fisherman's boat which will take us to the Natural Moment Penguim Island which is a small island located 100 meters from the cost. (It takes about 20 minutes to get there). We will get close enough to the island ( is a protected area , we can not get to the Island itself) so you will have the chance to see seagulls, pelicans, yeco ducks, sea otters and Humboldt penguins. After that we can take you to have lunch at a typical chilean restaurant if you like.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off (if option selected), Local guide, Transport by air-conditioned minivan, National Park fees, Bottled water, Snacks
Exclusions: Lunch, Gratuities
I arranged our private tour with Mauricio via email. He was very professional and helpful in our decision to do a private tour of Valparaiso / Vina del Mar and return to San Antonio for our back to back cruise. Because of COVID-19, our 2nd cruise was cancelled and our tour guide Francisco was very agreeable to taking us to Santiago airport after our Valparaiso and Vina del Mar tour. Our tour guide, Francisco was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant - he made our tour very enjoyable and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed the seafood empanadas, recommended by Mauricio. Thank you Mauricio and Francisco for a fun last day in Chile.

We had a pleasure of Waldo being our tour guide driving and showing us around Valparaiso. We had 2 children that are still young, so flexibility of the schedule is a must and Waldo is very flexible and intuitive of our needs. He even prepared desserts, drinks, fruits, you name it, he brought them with him so we have a pleasant day through out the day, as most of the restaurants is still closed during Phase 2. He even brought our bags along and carried them securely,to prevent robbery. Thank you Waldo for being very patient with us and waited until we had great photo for our Instagrams. We really recommend him!

Jimmy and Simone created a fantastic personalized day for our family. Their knowledge of the local area and fun personalities made sure everyone had a great day. The highlight was surfing! Everyone in our group was able to make it up – what fun. In addition, we had a 2nd personalized trip with just my husband and I to the foot hills of the Andes to visit hot springs. What ever you have in mind, these two will accommodate!

This review is long overdue, as we had one of the best days in Chile when we were there in February 2019.We were a group of 4 friends traveling together from Canada and our friends from USA.We have done wine tours all over the world, and this day with Mick ranks at the top.Great scenery, his selection of Winery’s was top notch. Our first and favourite was Antiyal.I am a member of Opimian Society, which is the largest wine club in Canada, and Antiyal Wines are available to us. If you want a great relaxing day with friends and wine ,you won’t be disappointed. No pressure by Mick or the wineries to purchase. We left the selection of the wineries to Mick.Fantasic choice for lunch he picked.HarasDePirque.Try the Albis wine with lunch. We have not up loaded photo as 2 of our pictures are already up.The 4 of us are with Mick in the picture. The 2 men have Cork hats on from wine trip to Portugal .Sorry for the delay Mick. Paul and Debbie from Toronto Canada

Did this trip in February. To sum it up it consists of 11 hours in a minivan to visit three churches in Chiloe, none of them is interesting unless you are an academic interested in the technical details of wooden church building in the mid 19th century. However good the guides are (and our guide was excellent) this piece of Chile is not worth visiting. The drive to Castro in Chiloe island comprises a 70km motorway run to a ferry and then more than two hours driving along a scruffy, semi industrialised road with no redeeming features to Castro. On arrival the only logical question is "why bother". There are so many beautiful places in Chile I would suggest that people give this excursion a swerve and prevent the total waste of a day of their lives.
