The B.O.S.C. is a surf shop and hostel on the Northern coast of Taiwan. We offer equipment rental, lodging, lessons… pretty much everything surfing-related. Our location is about 45 minutes from Taipei, and we're only a short walk from the beach. It's just a short jaunt over to town, where you can find some awesome food, but we also barbecue all the time, and we'd love for you to join us for that.

Taiwan Beech Trail Round trip time: 4hr Taiwan beech (Fagus, Fagus hayatae) are the botanical relics of the ice age in Taiwan so they are very precious and rare. When you walk along the 3.85 km trail, you can thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the animal and plant ecosystems in addition to the historical relics of the railways. No matter which season you visit, the sight is always appealing.
