We had a fantastic tasting experience at Corniola. The owner/winemaker Vince gave us a very personal guide through his wines including insights into his history and the history of the wines and vineyard. We enjoyed all the wines and I particularly enjoyed the Bin 518 blend.

Yileena Park is a family owned Cellar Door, Winery and Vineyard located in the beautiful Yarra Valley just one hour drive north east of Melbourne. The vinyard was established in 1998 and comprises 5 acres of Pinot Noir, 5 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2.5 acres of Merlot. It is situated on a north facing slope at the base of the Christmas Hills which keep it cool and protected. And the grey loam soil surfaced over a rock studded clay base make it ideal for growing premium wine grapes. The vineyard is pruned to produce between 1-2 tones of fruit per acre which allows the vines the opportunity to completely ripen the fruit. Our watering system is an American Sub-surface drip irrigation type, which delivers the water and organic liquid fertilizer directly to the vine’s roots. It allows for excellent control over our watering which we judiciously monitor. The unique sandstone cellar door at Yileena Park was opened in 2006. It is anchored back into a steep hill to ensure cool cellaring of our premium wines as the ground floor is virtually buried underground. Climb the superbly timber panelled stair case to the warmly inviting tasting room which is swathed in Tasmanian Myrtle and features and open fire place, an ornate Victorian mantle and a beautifully detailed granite bar. French doors open onto an expansive deck affording views over the vineyard and the beautiful Yarra Valley. The deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine with a pre-ordered cheese platter. When you visit Cellar Door you must also sample our unique smoked delicacies. These are infused with the smoke from old wine barrels and the combination of wine and oak flavours imparts an amazing flavour that needs to be tasted to be believed. Our smoked products are only available at Cellar Door and include smoked salt, olives, nuts, mustard, olive oil, red wine vinegar and cheeses. With such close proximity to Melbourne this stunning Celar Door, Winery and Vineyard is so accessible. We look forward to seeing you when you are next in the Yarra Valley.
Dropped in to see Bob for a quick chat, so we decided to order a meat and cheese platter for lunch as well as a wine tasting WOW the food arrived promptly and what a delicious feed, combined with a tasting of such high quality wines we were blown away. A fantastic way to while away a Saturday afternoon. We were that impressed with his boutique wines that we purchased a couple of bottles which we will enjoy very soon. Will definitely return Thanks Bob and Dianne

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Sutherland in early 2020 and it was better than we could have ever hoped. As locals to the Yarra Valley with lots of family and friends attending from overseas, we wanted somewhere that would show off the best of the region we love, without being over the top - and we were keen to support one of the more boutique/smaller wineries. From the time we initially inquired, Cathy and the team were so easy going, accommodating of our random requests and helpful - and just such nice humans! They are exceptional at what they do - the day went seamlessly, and everyone had nothing but praise for the view, the outstanding wine, the food and the staff. It truly was a perfect day and we look forward to celebrating our anniversaries there (although will definitely be back before then!)

Less than an hour's drive from Melbourne, the De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate is a vibrant, family friendly winery, overlooking the valley's rolling hills. Enjoy the views and warm hospitality while sharing good wine, good food and good times with family and friends. Taste wines from the De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate, as well as wines from their King Valley, Heathcote, and Bilbul Estates. With the current restrictions due to Covid-19, our restaurant has re-opened as Locale Cafe, where we are offering a new-style cafe menu for you to enjoy. Our cafe is open Thurs - Mon 10am - 3pm. Our Cellar Door is open from 10am - 4.30pm for cellar door tastings by appointment.
Had lunch at the Winery Restaurant approximately a week ago. Absolutely brilliant. Beautiful restaurant set in the grounds of the Winery overlooking the Yarra Valley. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, but of course, the main thing that people are interested in is the food, it is outstanding, an excellent Menu with numerous choices, the food is beautifully presented and most importantly, delicious. We were a group of four we had an entree followed by a main and three of the group chose a dessert, we also drank a bottle of wine and a carafe of wine with the total cost being $370, very reasonable for the quality of the restaurant, the food and drink. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant if looking for a special place to eat to compliment a great day in the Valley.

A monthly makers market on the first Sunday of the month from September through to June. Featuring 300 stalls of Featuring seasonal fresh produce, homewares, sculpture, art, gifts, fashion, jewellery, children's clothes and accessories, photography, skincare, plants, woodwork and more. A great family day out with plenty of delicious market food, kids activities, playground and music.
Always a fabulous market Yarra Glen. Food, clothes, novelties and crafts!! what more could you ask for. Hundreds of quality stores/ stalls, not cheap rubbish like some other markets sell. These stall holders sell awesome things and a great variety and quality products too. I Always leave with something, never empty handed. Have been at least 10 times or more in past few years and still always discover something new and unique. Worth a trip and the food is great also so its a great day out. It does get busy and can be full on with prams etc so get there early. Parking is easy due to large carpark. Enjoy!! and visit soon

Located in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Mandala Wines has proudly crafted wines of character and finesse since 1999. Established by the Smedley family, Mandala has two sites under vine: one at Dixons Creek, where the 5* James Halliday-rated Cellar Door complex and glasshouse DiVino Ristorante is based, and the other at Yarra Junction. Both sites produce wine varietals that excel in the region; Dixons Creek is home to a mix of classic varieties, while the Yarra Junction vineyard was carefully selected for premium pinot noir production. Mandala Wines merges the qualities that make up the balance of ‘the good life’ – the love of family, food and wine; the best recipe for embracing and savouring life.
Many of the Yarra Valley wineries are getting extremely popular. This is fine but takes away from the cellar door experience. We really enjoyed tasting here because it is much smaller and had a more personal feel. The wines were excellent and we took a few bottles with us.
