Just spent two weeks in Yangzhou teaching, spent time down this street which is an ancient street, you will need to avoid the scooters which go up and down the street pipping their horns, you will need to get out of their way as they wont move for you! Went to some of the museum, old merchant houses on the street. Some lovely shops and coffee houses which serve Lattes, fab. We walked from one end to the other where it meets slender west lake, my friend, colleague and I had a great time once in a lifetime visit.
