This was a fantastic day trip with friends. Worth the almost 2 hour trip there! We had a great time exploring the site, went up on the cable car and then walked back down. Beautiful scenery of the lush bamboo trees. Would definitely recommend a visit to get away from the city and out into nature.

Have some issues in deciding on our itinerary for the trip initially. But we decided to book our tour with China Private Tours although their price was slightly higher than another tour agent as they have very patiently & professionally attended to all our enquiries. And they did not disappoint. There was just a slight hiccup with the first driver, Mr Cheng, who picked us up from Shanghai to Hangzhou as he most probably had missed the turn to the side lane to drive in to the parking area of the hotel. The second driver, Mr Lu, who drove us around on the tour in Suzhou is extremely patient, thoughtful & helpful. Along the way when we urgently require a local mobile SIM card, he very nicely attended to our request to drive us to the shop. When we had some problem finding our accommodation for the night due to the restricted area, despite the late hours & rain, he patiently assisted us by communicating with the owner of the lodge & drove us to another location where we didn't need to walk to far. Anita, our tour guide in Suzhou, was wonderful. She was patient, caring, funny and helpful throughout the tour. She was very informative & could provide answers to many of our questions. As it was raining during the tour and we didn't have enough umbrella, she constantly ensure that we are shielded by sharing hers. This is definitely highly recommended tour agent to book your tour with!

We are a group of Ex-pats who have been in Shanghai an average of 7 years. We can honestly share that this experience will be one of the high lights of our time here. It is one thing to view the Bund from either side looking over to the other. It exceeds your expectations to see it from the middle of the river. Alana was an outstanding host from start to finish. She checked in during the entire process making sure we had what we needed and even thought of extra ways to make this celebration better. The Champaign was Moet and the View was priceless. Had a great time in Suzhou with our tour guide Annie. We went through all the transit seamlessly and hit all the major points. It was nice just being able to enjoy and learn about a destination without having to deal with logistics.

I have travelled with YAT Travel since 2018 and the places that I went with them are North-East China, Harbin, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, West Sichuan and the most recent one that I went is the Silk Road and North Xinjiang. All together they were 3 long tours, all covering more than 20 days in each trip. I find this travel agency reliable and they deliver what were promised in the itineraries. They guides that were assigned to us are passionate and responsible in their duties..namely Zach and Jason whom I have the privilege to meet. Both of them went all the way out to make sure their guests are comfortable and well taken care of. If not for the pandemic the whole world is facing now, I would have gone with YAT for my fourth trip and that is to Yunnan Photography Tour in March this year. When the trip was cancelled due to the pandemic our deposits were promptly refunded by the company to our much relieved. If you plan to see China as a traveller and not seeing the usual touristy stuff which is often jam packed and very commercialised I would highly recommend YAT Travel. They will bring you to see the real interesting China and not forgetting to mention the delicious local food they bring to.

Even though biking/walking up the hills and all was rough, I thoroughly and completely enjoyed the walk. It was so nice and Jason was so knowledgeable! I really enjoyed it and I hope the tour will happen again and visit some other temples!
