A Quirky little sweet shop down the picturesque Overton arcade. Filled with sweets and drinks from all over the world in possibly the brightest and most colourful shop in town! Not only do they sell sweets & drinks but gifts and gadgets to appeal to anyone with a sense of fun and excitement.
This is an amazing hidden gem. The owners are so friendly they make everyone feel so welcome. They know their products so if you are not sure just ask. My 8 year old loves going there to spend her pocket money. They have things for the person that has everything. The sweets and fizzy drinks are fabulous. This is definitely not a normal shop but is so worth a visit. They also have a fabulous online shop that fulfills orders very quickly.

We are an independent family business located between Wrexham and Chester. We have a Garden Centre and Farm Shop with a Restaurant, large Gift area and seasonal Pick Your Own. We offer a unique shopping experience and pride ourselves on our team of friendly staff. Our Farm Shop has an abundance of locally sourced produce and tasty treats, from daily essentials such as free range eggs and freshly baked bread, to a wide range of speciality goods including cheese, flavoured oils and local beers. We take great pride in supplying our customers with fresh fruit and vegetables from our working farm, from field to shop in 5 minutes with zero food miles. Jamie Wards Traditional Family Butchers offer a wonderful selection of meats including delicious Welsh black beef and Welsh lamb. At their deli counter you can buy cheese, pies, pate, terrines and cured meats from around the world. Our established Garden Centre has a plentiful supply of quality plants and associated gardening products at competitive prices. In our large Gift Department there is something for everyone, from children's toys, candles and cards to homeware and books. Enjoy a wonderful view over the Welsh countryside as you relax and sample the home-cooked menu in the Strawberry Fields Restaurant. We also have an extensive menu available for our gluten intolerant customers. Bellis Brothers have been growing strawberries in Holt since Charles Bellis planted his first strawberry plant 'Black Prince' in 1860. Today we grow strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, tayberries, loganberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, rhubarb, peas and beans all available for picking. Pick your own opens Mid-June (weather permitting) please call or check our website for availability.
Walked to Bellis's from Wrexham last Wednesday and bought Steak & Kidney pie, a Quiche and a delicious Lemon Drizzle loaf. They were so tasty we went back on Saturday for another look around. The shop is so well set out and well organised so the wait outside is kept to a minimum. The meat section is perfect with a huge selection. We opted for the Lamb Mint Pin Wheels which were absolutely yummy accompanied by fresh new potatoes from the well stock veg section. We finished off our browsing with a few trays of plants and two bags of compost to keep us busy in the lockdown. What a perfect place to shop. Cannot fault it
