Live music venue with acts appearing from around the world, Rock, Blues and Folk. American style menu specialising in Burgers and Cheesecakes. Home of the, "World Famous Dessert Shots".
Friendly management, we visited to see Stray and Ken Pustelnik's Groundhogs. Decent size stage and plenty of room to watch from floor or seating with a bar area too. Large enough to fit a decent size audience but small enough to give a feeling of intimacy. Will be happy to go again.

Newly reopened the Theatrebarn offers a unique theatre experience and fine dining experience on the edge of the Cotswolds in the village of Bretforton.
Set in a fantastic location and with canapes and drinks on arrival for the black-tie event we attended, Theatrebarn is a unique experience. Recently re-opened and refurbished, this amazing converted barn has a very interesting story behind it. A superb performance by Alistair McGowan with canapes in the interval followed by a superb buffet-style meal afterwards, it simply can't be equalled. We understand the intention is to host a variety of performances with a mixture of the existing black-tie evenings along with less formal events going forward to attract a wider audience, either way, we will be back very soon. Well done Theatrebarn for a fantastic evening!

My daughter (7) and I had our first experience of the ballet last week when we visited the Artrix to watch Snow White. An amazing performance with a great view. It’s a lovely venue with more leg room than some theatres! We sat in Row L, seats 9 & 10 so pretty central. Only downside was the parking (as other people have previously mentioned) it took me 10 minutes standing in the car park on my phone, painstakingly entering my reg.... I believe you can do it before you travel or download an app which I would definitely look in to before you arrive as it could save you time. Car park is right outside so if you manage to sort your ticket out, you don’t have far to walk!

Malvern Theatres is proud of its standing as a leading centre of artistic excellence in the West Midlands. Since opening as the Malvern Assembly Rooms in 1885, it has undergone many changes and is now home to two theatres and a cinema, boasting an impressive range of critically acclaimed theatrical and cinematic productions. The 850 seat Festival and Forum theatres regularly host world class touring plays, musicals, operas and ballets and have become a hotspot for pre and post West End productions. The Forum, along with the recently refurbished 300 seat cinema, comes equipped with the latest cinematic technology to enable live screenings of productions around the world. The theatres are run by the Malvern Theatres Trust, a registered charity, dedicated to ensuring the success of the theatres and maintaining the building for future generations to enjoy. By choosing to visit, you are helping to ensure that this much loved theatre remains part of the community for many years to come.
I have been here about 10 times now and each time, it has not failed to impress. The bars are well staffed for that pre-theatre drink but if I have to comment, the theatre's café/restaurant is too small for the venue - a lot of folks would love to eat here before the show but space prevents this. There are lots of places to eat near by however. The theatre is slap bang in the middle of town with lots of places to have a bite to eat and a drink before, during and after each show. Staff are very friendly and willing to help wherever they can and due to its size, every seat has a good view of the stage. They get a number of tour plays and pre-West End ones, live music is also catered for although they tend to have tribute bands rather than the real thing.

This was our third year of going to the panto here and again it was brilliant. We went to another panto earlier in December elsewhere and it was not a patch on this one. Cast clearly love doing it, they are genuinely funny and is perfects for adults and children alike. The live band also makes it special. Can not recommend it enough and will be returning again next year.

Let’s go back in time and feel great the moment you walk across the road from the carpark and enter the foyer , there is a remarkable feel good factor. Two gentlemen assistants were dressed in dinner suits and bow ties. Superb. It brings you back to the early days of cinema and theatre. Now here’s another quality note. The seats were comfy firm and solid. And yes plenty of legroom. Plus great acoustics. Loved the volunteer staff behind bar and sweet shop. It is a great venue. We shall return. Left feeling great and revitalised nostalgic and very happy. Thank you
