The Lord Dudley

The Lord Dud is always busy and the pub grub is great - basic, plentiful and delicious. It can be hard to find a table due to its popularity. There is a restaurant downstairs but the buzzy atmosphere is in one of the bars upstairs. You can drink on the pavement outside until around 8pm. Sunday lunches look great although I haven't had one yet. It's also a great spot to watch rugby matches.

I've been for high tea a couple times. The service is always excellent and fast, with extremely friendly waiters and waitresses. The tea trays are always a delight, especially the traditional high tea which has exceptional scones and macaroons. Will definitely be back again!

Classic old pub on the 5 ways at Paddibgton. Hip and funky location, this boutique pub offers a variety of foodie and social events, the highlight of which is their Saturday Ladies Brunch, 11.30-1.30, bookings essential. Set menu of yummy oasterues and fruit, banana crumpets with caramel and butterscotch crunch, poached eggs on kale and other healthy greens and the best part...bottomless cocktails like salted caramel espresso martinees and carafes of vodka based inventions with juice and elderberry. Tables are set with lovely flower arrangements, a DJ spins upbeat ambient tunes and wait service is attentive and frequent. All for $85 pp. We LOVE! ????
