You will visit Fox Hill Cheese as well as three Award winning Vineyards including Luckett's, Lightfoot and Wolfville and Planter's Ridge where you can try Nova Scotia's finest wine Tidal Bay. You will also see stunning Views & Vistas of the Bay of Fundy from Blomidon Look-off Provincial Park. We also will visit Halls Harbour to SEA the Highest Tides in the World and a great spot for lunch. Bring your Eagle Eye as we pass Sheffield Mills a large Bald Eagle Nesting area and then your tour will continue traveling into the heart of the Annapolis Valley through a 400-year-old village of Wolfville. Enjoy a scenic drive to the Annapolis Valley to experience 3 award winning wineries. Sip your way through Nova Scotia wine country and learn about our cool climate wines. Stop one includes a tour/tasting at the first winery. At the second winery enjoy a guided tasting and lunch with wine at Luckett Vineyards, overlooking the beautiful Minas Basin fed by the Bay of Fundy (Luckett Vineyards is only available during May-December). Finally, visit a third winery after lunch for a final guided tasting before heading back to Halifax.

Nova Scotia boasts some of the finest winery in Canada. Known for its historic maritime culture, fantastic beaches, the Bay of Fundy's record tides now add a great wine to that list. The earliest vines in Nova Scotia were planted in around 1610 by Champlain's hard-working band of settlers. It was and still is great to relax to a glass of wine after a hard day's work. Today the wine industry in Nova Scotia has grown to become a proud addition to the province's economy. We will begin our tour with the narration of the areas of our intended sites. Our first visit will be at the Domaine de Grand Pre Winery, where we will spend about two hours exploring this site. We will spend the day investigating the various vineyards where you can take in the beauty and sample their unique offerings. This is a day that is spent outdoors so please dress appropriately for this tour. Walking shoes are ideal.

If you want the absolute best wine tour, this is THE tour! This is a private wine tour where you and your friends will feel like VIPs! Also, you get to choose which wineries you will visit! Choose two wineries from Avondale Sky Winery, L'Acadie Vineyards, Planters Ridge Winery, Benjamin Bridge or Sainte-Famille Wines where you'll enjoy private tours and wine tastings. The third winery is our oldest established winery, Grand Pre Wines. Here you'll take a stroll through the vineyard to learn about the grape-growing process followed by a private wine tasting of 5 award-winning wines. Then relax on the vine covered pergola and savour a two-course gourmet lunch paired with a glass of wine. The lunch is chef-created based on food allergies and dietary restrictions provided by the travelers and includes an appetizer and a choice of two entrees. All ingredients are locally sourced from the nearby farms and fisheries. This tour has a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 8 people.
