When you think “adventure travel” you probably think of far-flung places like Belize and Alaska—not Wisconsin. But if you’re an outdoor adventurer, you’ll find plenty of places to explore in Wisconsin. A vacation in Wisconsin can put you close to the Kettle Moraine State Forest, which has excellent biking trails. Or choose Wisconsin’s Apostle Islands—kayakers will love exploring Lake Superior’s many caves and shipwrecks.
Packers fans don’t wear those cheese-wedge hats for nothing! Foodies will love tasting as many of Wisconsin’s artisanal cheeses as possible. Either drive from cheesemaker to cheesemaker, or choose a Wisconsin vacation in a town with a good farmers’ market—then the cheesemakers bring their wares to you. And what goes better with artisanal cheese than craft beer? In Milwaukee, visit the Lakefront and Sprecher Breweries for tours and tastings.
Wisconsin Dells is a classic family vacation destination. A vacation in Wisconsin Dells will put you close to all the excitement—you’ll have to tear the kids away from the theme parks, wave pools and water parks in Wisconsin Dells!
Lake Geneva boasts clean beaches, golf, and a small-town feel that definitely appeals to city dwellers—it’s a popular getaway for residents of Chicago.

My 3 kids (ages 13, 8 and 6), their grandparents and I arrived at 1pm, when the pool opened. There was a long line that went outside the facility but moved rather quickly. After paying only $18 for all of us, we were met immediately by another employee showing us which way the boys went and which way to the girls changing area. She also reminded us to shower before entering the pool area. So we did, everyone did that I could see. The showers, changing area and bathroom were very clean and everything was in working condition. A big sign at the pool entrance said "No shoes or sandals on the pool deck" and this was strictly enforced. The deck and pool area were immaculate! There were 2 slides in the pool area, one body slide and one tube slide that you could ride either single or double on, swimming lanes for lap swimmers, a small lazy river, a toddler/young child area with a small "fish" slide, 2 diving boards and a nice swimming area. The tubes offered for the last river and slide were always available and in excellent shape. The lifeguards were attentive and there is absolutely no running on deck or any type of horseplay allowed in or out of the water. The concession area was clean, reasonable and offered things like: hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders, hamburger, chips, fruit snacks, soda, juice and frozen treats. A combo meal of pizza, chips and a soda was $6. A hot dog, chips and soda was $5. There weren't any "healthier" selections like a sub sandwich or baked chips, fruit etc. but my kids ate, loved it and went right back to swimming :-) Sitting areas had some shade and nice loungers to stretch out and relax on. My family and I will be back! A great place for kids and folks of all ages to either stay for a bit or plan a whole day poolside. *I noticed starting August 21st that pool hours change until September when they close for the season so make sure to look the hours up or call before you visit.*

The retro charm of Bay Beach includes old-fashioned prices: rides are only 20 cents each.
This is the PERFECT place for a family to enjoy classic amusement park rides at such an affordable price. Everything from Kiddie rides to the Zippin Pippin which was Elvis's roller coaster in Memphis. MUST for all visitors to Green Bay!

Open only to resort guests.
Bumper boats (expensive for the amount of time on them), slides for all levels of thrill seekers, and a huge play structure for younger kids...this waterpark feels colder than the others and is a long walk away from the other two indoor parks. My kids loved it.

We've been here several times before and we keep coming back. Family friendly, very affordable rides and concessions, and they even allow goers to bring cooler plus free parking! Today, was our first outing since the Pandemic in March. We were very impress with how they handle the crowd, adjusted/ changed their rides to observe social distancing and providing wipes for riders. We're definitely coming back!

I took my 13 year old son and his buddy to this resort for a quick week-end trip. We had a fantastic time!! Our hotel room was very close to one of the water parks - room was spacious and had just what we needed (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV). We brought a lot of snacks so didn't eat in the restaurants but at first glance prices looked above average ($12 for a salad, $8 for chicken strips at the snack bar). I highly recommend the Unlimited Fun Passes - the boys were able to ride go-karts, ropes course, climbing wall, mini golf and bumper boats as much as they wanted ($8 per ride on go-karts alone, I know they went at least 10x each). Drinks were delicious - although the $26.99 for a souvenir cup felt expensive it was a 42 ounce drink so definitely worth the price (and only $16.99 for a refill). The bartender was very sweet - she made the boys non-alcoholic margaritas in a souvenir cup and they felt so important. Staff was quite nice, we didn't ask for much so were easy guests. Check in process was so easy - we checked in on Saturday at noon and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready right away! Within minutes the boys were at the water park. We took breaks from the water, relaxed in the room or checked out the arcades (spendy, prizes were expensive and broke right away) and non-water rides. Overall I was so happy with the entire week-end, it was exactly what we were hoping for - we will definitely be back!!!!!!
