We have just got home after a 1 night break in the cowboy and Angels studio. I actually cannot fault our stay at all it was perfect. We were met by the very friendly owner who showed us around and told us all about feeding the animals. The children loved feeding them! We used the discount at the greene oak pub where the food was just phenomenal. We had a very cosy night in with two very tired children after a day at legoland! We bed was extremely comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep. Waking to feed the animals and getting our fresh eggs for breakfast was a real treat! We didn’t actually want to leave to go back to legoland! If you want a very special snug abs cosy base for a legoland trip, do not hesitate to book, perfect stay, we will be back for sure! Thanks

The sweetest place to be in Windsor since 1998. We hand-make the best fudge in the world, using a 200-year-old recipe. It’s all gluten free, completely natural and doesn’t contain any nasty palm oil or preservatives. We even make the best vegan fudge you’ve ever tasted. Watch fudge being made in our kitchen every day between 11-4 and taste some fresh off the slab! If you’re a true fudge fanatic, you can even come for a Fudge Making Experience (please call ahead to check availability).
A visit to this shop is a ritual I have every time I visit my family Windsor (which can be often)! Met the lovely Henry this time - I think it's safe to say we tried every flavour (maybe some twice!) My fave this time has got to be the Salted Caramel & the Darch Chocolate Orange (which was warm as freshly made) The Eton Mess is going down a storm in my office as I write this review!! Henry is definitely an asset to this wee shop - a bonus for me was finally getting to meet Dexter the Cat!

Situated in the Windsor Royal Shopping centre is a rare find, a traditional tobacconist on site of the old station master's office built in 1897 and still features some of the original furnishings. The ceiling is hand painted with a replica of the sistine chapel but with a cigar twist. The shop has a wide variety of Cuban cigars and rare whisky. The perfect shop for gifts.
Excellent selections, especially for such a small shop, including some brands I hadn't even heard of, and my beloved Tabak brand. Alas, cigar stores are few & far-between in the UK, which makes a shop like this just that much more valuable. Friendly service by Vijay.

A Hoppy Place is a craft beer bottle shop & tasting room in Windsor, Berkshire, a stones throw from the Castle. Come and try a fantastic local craft beer!
We can't say enough good things about A Hoppy Place! Great Beer, great people with great knowledge, and always a great welcome. Whether you know a lot about beer (or like us, just like drinking it :) you'll be greeted with a real welcome, and will have a lot of fun drinking (and learning) on the way.

The Stanley Spencer Gallery is a very special place for all generations of the family to enjoy. Devoted to the work of one of Britain's greatest twentieth century painters, Sir Stanley Spencer, the Gallery was named by ArtFund last year (2019) as being one the UK's five most 'unmissable' small Art Galleries. It has also been awarded a coveted Michelin Green Star, and has recently gained a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. Spencer was born in 1891 in the family home in Cookham High Street. Whatever the current exhibition (there are two per year), the visitor can be assured of discovering poignant images of Cookham and people in Spencer's life. Many of Spencer's works depict joyous and vivid fusions of the ordinary with the extraordinary and the earthly with the spiritual, often touched by the trauma of his wartime experiences. The Gallery provides the largest collection of Sir Stanley Spencer's works on display anywhere in the world.
Very small gallery but very interesting, because you are local to where all the paintings were created. The staff are so well informed about Spencer's history and they will guide you to the church and other local spots highlighted in many of Spencer 's key works. Plus several fantastic old and welcoming pubs and you can also take a Thames side stroll.
