Fantastic - even for a muggle this place is jaw dropping. This was our third visit and we will be back before the year is out . You can actually do this trip yourself by public transport from Waterloo to Watford Junction and then there is a free shuttle coach to the studios and it will end up costing you a fraction of the price. Just to say I have not used this service so I am not reviewing the service given by Premium tours .A family ticket cost €132 for 2 adults and 2 children and then the extras are just the train fare. If you are on a budget I would recommend exploring this option.

My mom and I had a wonderful day with Jules and Phoenix! They are incredibly knowledgeable and such nice people. We explored beautiful towns and gorgeous countryside landscapes. We learned so much about the history of England and had a lot of fun seeing the hidden gems of the Cotswolds and historically important places. This was an amazing tour and we highly recommend it!

Mr. Davies provided my partner and I an exceptional “ancestry” tour of Wiltshire. He arranged for us to be picked up and returned to our club in London for the day by private car. This was very helpful as my partner is partially disabled. (Although the London traffic was horrendous and we might do differently next time). We then proceeded to meetup with him and he provided a wonderful, well informed tour of a list of villages and sites from whence my ancestors hailed specific to Wiltshire, which I had provided to him, such as churches and villages from genealogical research I had done. It was, he said, the first tour of that nature he had done. He had scouted the sites in advance! Not only that, but as an archaeologist and historian, he had great knowledge of the area. We got to see the ancestral sites, very meaningful to me as my grandfather was an emigrant to the U.S. We also were able to fit in some Neolithic sites, two small, interesting museums, several iconic villages, and a luxury lunch at a Michelin starred restaurant on a lovely resort estate. My partner is a Numismatist and very interested in coins, medallions and hordes, and Mr Davies even had a great knowledge of these as well. As a premier musician, he was extremely cultured and well travelled and was even acquainted with my partners great uncle, a well known French Horn player. What a small world we live in and I would not hesitate to say what a high recommendation we would give him, a lovely chap. It was a great day and though not inexpensive, well worth the cost.

Without doubt one of the most informative tours I’ve had by a tour guide. To give context to the reason we went to Bath was my Mum was one of 5 children who lived in Bath in WW2. She was 6 years of age at the time and all her sisters and brother shared their experience of the Bath Blitz to our family and her grandchildren. As i was visiting my sister who lives down near Bath, and our cousin. This was a huge surprise for my Mam, as My sister had contacted Daniel to tell him of where she used to live. Daniel went to the trouble of taking us to where she lived, and had even contacted a neighbour who lived near my Mum and the gentleman kindly shared some pictures of the property before it was demolished due to the bombings. From beginning to end, the vast knowledge and information he shared with us was not a tour, it was an experience. His friendly approach and engaging manner made this a day for my Mum and myself and Cousin a day to remember. Nothing was too much trouble and his wit and vocal tone were perfect, you will never tire of listening to him and the history of this beautiful city. I was not sure what to expect from the day and as an avid shopper, even I was NOT interested in shopping with exception of The Fudge Kitchen as I had mentioned my colleagues had “hinted” that they love it. Daniel took us, to the shop and we were not disappointed! I am sure my colleagues will be disappointed as the fudge certainly won’t be travelling back to Durham as I will have eaten it before I go back. I’ve learned so much today and to see my Mums face and engagement with Daniel will be a day none of us will ever forget. Thank you so much for such a very special afternoon.

Tailored Tours really lives up to their name. My wife and I really liked the idea of this trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary but weren’t fussed about going into Oxford as we’d both been there before and neither of us were interested in the church. We called them up and Sam suggested a stop at Warwick castle instead. You don’t get this level of flexibility normally so we were both really happy. This was a good start and things only got better. We were picked up from our hotel by Oz – our private tour guide for the day – and set off for Stratford. Along the way Oz gave us little snippets of information that gave context and meaning to everything we saw. Ever wondered where the phrase ‘hitting the hay’ comes from? Take this tour and you’ll find out first hand. The trip to Warwick castle was a great addition to the tour and really made our day. The views from the top were stunning and we were really lucky with the weather. Oz let us take our time and look round and we even took in the birds of prey show – a real highlight. On the drive back, we still managed to learn fascinating new things about Oxford which gave us a whole new perspective on a city we’d been to so many times and thought we knew inside and out! We finished off the day as it began – being dropped off back at our hotel. A truly magnificent day out and a wonderful historical tour!

We had an amazing trip to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds with Oz; our courteous driver and tour guide. The trip was very professional and very well organized. From the outset, we could tell we were in good hands. Oz really knows his way around the area and his depth of knowledge of the history of the locations is fantastic. You could not ask for a better guide. Our trip was a little different because we asked not to go to The Roman Museum and spend more time in the Cotswolds. Oz picked us up on time and the van was very comfortable. We were provided hand sanitizer in the van for our use and offered face masks if needed which was also reassuring. It was quite a long drive out to Stonehenge, but Oz kicked things off with an interesting talk on London as we passed by important buildings. He then gave us an amazing introduction speech about Saxons, Vikings and ancient history that really had us hooked on what we were going to see! The whole day was superb, we never felt rushed and enjoyed it so much from beginning to end. Thanks for a great day Oz - this was the best day of our holiday!
