I love the wines at this family owned winery. No matter who serves you it will be a great experience and you’ll learn something new. j took care of us on last visit and Shelly is great too!

We visited Birds and Barrels Winery through Harvest Hosts and had a delightful time. Monica and Chad are gracious hosts and shared their passion for growing exceptional grapes for exceptional wines. The setting is laid back and comfortable with the help of their trusty companions; a friendly black lab and tabby. We were able to enjoy star gazing while listening to a choir of coyotes serenade us. They also now have a tasting room in Wilcox proper near the railroad park.

Wonderful family, great wines, excellent food. After our first tasting of their wines in 2013, we were hooked and became members of their Rock Creek Club. They have three gatherings/celebrations each year - Budbreak, Veraison, and Harvest. At each of these, a farm lunch is prepared by renowned Chef Rod Kass of Cafe Roka in Bisbee, and catered in their home kitchen. You get the opportunity during these events to try any of their currently available bottled wines as well as a chance to participate with the vintner, Rod Keeling, in a sampling of the casks that are yet to be bottled.

Visited Coronado Vineyards following a trip to Chiricahua National Monument. Very much enjoyed the wine, food (fantastic charcuterie board) and conversation with the owner. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
