Whitefish Mountain Resort

Whitefish Mountain Resort, in northwest Montana, is noted for its laid-back vibe, world-class skiing, and unbeatable value. The resort sees an average of 300 inches of snow on its 3,000 acres, and is as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as for its consistently good snow conditions. When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling Zip Line Tours and an Aerial Adventure Park along with world-class downhill and cross-country mountain biking. Located next to the Base Lodge patio are fun activities for younger kids like Spider Monkey Mountain, the Strider Bike Park, and Summer Tubing. New for 2019, the Alpine Slide has a new and improved route and a second slide is being constructed! You can't beat the views from the Scenic Lift Ride to the Summit House Montana's only mountaintop restaurant.

Whitefish River Trail

Reviewed By U725PSalanh - San Diego, United States

My wife and I stayed at the Pine Lodge and we got a free kayak rental. The back of the hotel was right next to the river so we did a tandem kayak trip up the river to get to Whitefish Lake. It was a fairly easy trip and it took us about 40-min to reach the lake. The trip was very quiet and scenic and we even saw a deer on the way! You pass by a few bridges and it's a fun trip.
