We have found out about this island more by chance. In front of the island there is a large parking lot (400 Ft), just a few meters ahead is a beautiful wooden arched bridge. From the bridge there is a beautiful view of the lake. Immediately behind the bridge is a learning trail on which lookout towers and benches are set up. The island is very popular for families, walkers and fishermen. There are a huge number of bird species, but unfortunately there are also mosquitoes.

So, we went to see the castle. Bought the ticket for whole exhibition. Thinking we will see things in castle, and that's it. 4 hours later, i can't walk anymore, and we still have things to see ???? it is huge, includes more than one museum, you can see how people lived before, how they traveled, there is part with plants and animals, models of railway, castle library...my god...it is beautiful! Well done Keszthely!

The Zalaszántó Stupa is one of the largest such facilities in Europe. The sanctuary was built in 1992 on the Kovácsi hill near Zalaszántó, in the middle of a forest. The snow-white structure is 30 m high and 24 m wide. You can't even get inside the sanctuary. The stupa looks really nice and the surrounding area is very peaceful. The road is in a very bad condition. Worth visiting!

This park was near the place we stayed in and we liked it a lot! The fawn statue was very cute! And the dog statue was nice as well. Also there's a special track for walking barefoot, playground, botanical garden and even a bridge to hang ribbons with written wishes. Very beautiful.
