Poon Hill trekking is a fairly easy trek and a very famous trek in the Annapurna region. This trek is considered as easy and recommended for first timers trekkers. It is sometimes referred to as the short mini Annapurna circuit trek. This trek lays in the Annapurna foothills to the viewpoint in the Ghorepani. The route has the best lodging compared to any other trekking routes in Nepal. It provides you the most eye-catching Mountain View. The route has beautiful villages inhabited mostly by the Gurung tribe including the dense rhododendron forests with a variety of birds. The trek starts from the Modi Khola River which is an hours drive from Pokhara. This trek is very famous for its sunrise Poon hill. Ghorepani Poon hill trekking is also known as Annapurna sunrise view trek.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is popularly also known as Annapurna Sanctuary trek. The journey to its base camp is frequently placed on top of the best trekking routes in the world. Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is the interesting route for trekking in Nepal. This part of trek is recommendable for all around the year and for any age group.
