Our chauffeur Dimuth took us to the ancient temple located top of a huge rock near Colombo, we spend our last evening in srilanka on top, we could see around Colombo and beautiful sunset. Very historical place in a village hidden area.

This is a gorgeous Buddhist temple with amazing art work. Take your time and allow at least an hour for the visit. Be sure to also allow time to study the art work in the museum.

One of the most recognized places in Kalutara specifically among buddhists. Situated either side of the Colombo Galle main road. Has a scenic view adding to it’s religious importance. One of the rare places where you find a ‘chithya’ inside another and you can walk inside it
