Western Australia (abbreviated as WA) is a state occupying the entire western third of Australia. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean to the north and west, the Great Australian Bight and Southern Ocean to the south, the Northern Territory to the north-east and South Australia to the south-east. Western Australia is Australia's largest state, with a total land area of 2,529,875 square kilometres (976,790 sq mi), and the second-largest country subdivision in the world, surpassed only by Russia's Sakha Republic. The state has about 2.6 million inhabitants – around 11% of the national total – with 92% living in the south-west corner, mostly in the Perth area, leaving the remainder of the state sparsely populated.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is situated at the most south westerly tip of Australia, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet off the coast of the Margaret River region. A famous maritime landmark, the tower stands 39 metres high – the tallest on the Australian mainland. Guided tours are conducted daily at the Lighthouse. The precinct features a visitor centre, interpretive displays, café and retail shop in one of the historic cottages complete with ocean views.
“Where Two oceans meet” , a lighthouse built to facilitate navigation, simply overwhelming, loved the place, and the staff was helpful, friendly and made you feel so welcome.

It is one of the most prominent landmark in Rottnest Island and it has great views from the top of the hill. If you are unfit, I recommend the hop-on bus. Lather plenty of sunblock, unless you plan to get a tan.

Breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the beautiful Geographe Bay coastline reward visitors to the top balcony of the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. Only 13 kilometres from Dunsborough, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, historic Tea Rooms and Maritime Museum reveal the fascinating maritime history of the Cape region.
We went on a guided tour of the lighthouse , we had a great guide for the 45 min tour to the top which was very informative and delivered great views . An easy climb as the lighthouse is short, loads of interesting stories from its history and views towards sugarloaf rock.

The Bunbury Lighthouse is not open and you can only view it from the outside. The lighthouse can be seen from the Marlston Hill Lookout Tower or if you want to get up close, just park at Wyulug-Rocky Point. Alternatively, if you are staying on Ocean Drive, better still take a walk. Our family took the opportunity to go for a 5K run from the Ocean Drive Motel where we were staying to the lighthouse and back. A bonus is that you will get to also enjoy the varying views along the coast of Ocean Drive.

This North Mole Lighthouse is red instead of the South Mole Lighthouse is green. It started in 1906 and offered entrance to the Fremantle harbor. It was even more amazing when the sunset was on its way. Truly beautiful! Worthwhile to see
