Really enjoyed our visit to freeklime. We booked a slot with our 2 children aged 7 and 9. The bouldering walls varied in difficulty, allowing my 2 kids to access numerous routes all round the walls, rather than stay in one area, to difficult routes which would challenge strong climbers. Staff were great, even putting some challenges on the 2 large moon walls. They particularly liked the animal challenge. A great morning out. Also noticed there was a range of sessions run, from the simple booking of a slot to specific skills sessions, to Nibas sessions. Highly recommended and very covid safe. Thanks Joe

Huddersfield Leisure Centre offers superb facilities and a huge range of activities. There really is so much to try out, whether you want to improve your health and fitness levels, learn a new skill or simply come along as a family for a bit of fun. Our amazing Splash Park is easily the best leisure water experience in West Yorkshire.
We visited as a family of 4 and booked online in advance - the cost was only £15 which we thought was great value. The changing areas, lockers, showers and toilets were all very modern, clean and gave plenty of space. We loved the splash park, our eldest challenged herself on the tyre drop slide - I loved this one too. Our youngest loved the rapids and the smaller slides and Mum braved the orange slide. I really liked the timing element on the orange slide so you could compete to get the fastest time. The dedicated swim times worked well as it was no where near crowded and the staff enforced the changeover when a certain band colour was called to ensure it wasn't too busy at any stage. As we visited on a Sunday morning at 10am the car park opposite was free as the charging on a Sunday starts at midday (and even then it was only £1 for 6 hours). We'll definitely be back.
