If you haven't shopped at HAM CORNER and BRACEWELLS BUTCHERS in Todmorden Market - you haven't lived!! HAM CORNER is a confectioners, sandwich/salad provider - pies, savoury and sweet, quiches, cooked meats and so much more. Portions are ENORMOUS and prices are CHEAP. Staff are amazing - helpful, efficient and very friendly. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. BRACEWELLS is a family butchers and provides first class personal service, superb meats and there is nothing to fault. Tender, full of flavour and nothing is too much trouble. All cuts catered for. Tod Market is a great place to visit - a blast from the past with first class goods on offer.

Otley market is held on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday in the market square next to the Town Clock and adjoining street. The market has something for everyone. There are clothes stalls, food stalls, fruit and vegetable stalls, hardware stalls, picture frames, plant stalls , fresh fish van and other pop up stalls. The quality and price can not be beaten. Across the road is Weegmanns butchers that was established in 1869. It's award winning products; pies, pasties and meats are an experience not to be missed.

This is a beautiful building and a real asset to Halifax... there are some really good stalls... A personal favourite is Grosvenors for cooked meats and pork pies, really nice quality food that knocks spots off the supermarkets! Outside the market are a couple of fish stalls which are very good too! Would love the market to be dog friendly, would spend more time there!

We live in Dewsbury and support the market EVERY single week to support local. I see so many horrible reviews here that i feel obligated as a Dewsbury local to add my 2 pence... We buy most of our fresh produce from the market, our plants, fruit, veg, meat & eggs. It's wonderful! The sellers know us and will chat unlike the supermarket. I buy high street clothing and jewellery from stores like M&S with their label cut out for next to nothing! The haberdashery stalls are fabulous! The stall holders are real people trying to support themselves and their families. The town council have taken so much of the parking away that this town, bringing in charges. The town, like most Northern towns, is suffering from a lack of support. I encourage you to visit and ignore the crap reviews.
