This 87.9-mile bike trail makes for a challenging overnight trip for the experienced biker.
Nice river side walk featuring sculptures and a railroad there. There was even a pop up winery on the saturday of our visit!

. I have ventured a few of these trails myself with my running group back home, where we like to run a variety of trails known as Bob’s Loop. The loop begins on the The trail connects to Cedar dust trail which is a 2,902 ft long trail of a slow incline. The trail connects to Ridge Trail, where we begin the real climb to the outlook (or top of Ridge Trail). When reaching the top of Ridge, you feel a sense of accomplishment as you look out and see the coast of bellingham. We continue on to a trail known as Upper Bob’s where the trail gets steeper and rootier. However with careful eyes reaching the top can be done with no harm done. Having ran a little under two miles of hard straight uphill, we ran down a winding roller coaster of a trail known as Bob’s Trail (Lower Bob’s) before connecting with the family fun trail. By the time we had reached the end of those trails, we managed to run two miles of uphills plus two miles of downhills. Galbraith Mountain goes through a neighborhood so runners always have to courteous to the homeowners around them.

A 2.3-mile tunnel built between 1908 and 1911 for the railroad.
The history of this tunnel as well as the length make it a fun walk or bicycle ride! We were prepared with flashlights and hoodies and enjoyed walking in it very much. The coolness was refreshing on a warm day.

A 5.5-mile biking trail.
This is easy access, beautifully forested trail that allows you to travel (run, walk, cycle) from Fairhaven to the camping sites of Larrabee State Park. The trail is largely developed on old railway grade and is user friendly!

This 40 mile paved, car-free trail bordering the beautiful Spokane River has something for everyone: running, hiking, biking, horseback riding and canoeing. The Spokane River Centennial Trail is the backbone of the recreational trail system in eastern Washington and north Idaho, welcoming over 2.5 million users annually.
We rode parts of the Centennial Trail both East and west of Spokane oh, and all of it was wonderful. The entire trail is composed of different geographic regions, along both sides of the Spokane River running through downtown Spokane and all the way to the Idaho state line. Some of it is flat, the downtown area is very crowded with lots of bridges. The route on the west of downtown is beautiful, but very hilly and only for folks in good condition! The rest of the trail is suitable for even small children or the elderly. This is a great Trail so we highly recommend it, along with the Route of the Coeur d'Alenes and the Route of the Hiawatha in Idaho next door. We drove 300 miles just to bike these three routes!!!
