Went on Saturday 21 December. Five of us on the tour taken by James, who was knowledgeable and very personal. The brewery is a real local success story, great its doing so well. After the tour we had three halves of different beers in their homely bar, all very enjoyable. Many thanks

We visited during the local restrictions and made use of a voucher purchased as a Christmas gift. There was only one other couple on the tour however this was actually lovely and we were able to ask questions, adding to a very relaxed and informal experience. Our guide the vineyard manager was superb, so friendly and knowledgeable. We opted for the tour, wine tasting and cheese board which we thought were excellent value for money and left with a bottle of the Rondo and Pydew to enjoy at home! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have already recommended the tour to our friends and family ????

Welcome to In the Welsh Wind distillery. A working distillery on the West Wales coast, we are proud to be innovators and providers of bespoke, small batch premium spirits and gin tasting events. Join us for bespoke gin making experiences in our gin lab, and gin tasting opportunities. Our gin lab gin making experience offers you the opportunity to become the distiller and discover your own gin, guided by our expert team. Our unique experience allows you to choose your preferred balance of botanicals, operate one of our custom-made copper pot mini stills, and craft a bottle of your very own to label and take home. Our experiences are for a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 16 (based on 2 people sharing an experience - and a still). Come to the distillery for a gin tasting - after your welcome gin and tonic, you'll have the opportunity to explore 3 of our craft gins, learn about their flavour profiles and decide which you prefer before enjoying another gin and tonic!

We saw this place from the main road ( used to be a dreadful looking pub) and we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the door by a very informative lady - we could not got in to the whole building due to COVID restrictions but she explained about the gins they distill there. We ended up buying a bottle. Would go next time for the full gin tasting experience

Just spent the weekend at Cwm Deri camping. It was an absolute gem of a find - the ground are really pretty, the vineyards are lovely to walk around and the owners/staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights, Friday - Sunday and the facilities were spotless throughout with great covid-19 practice in place. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious and tried some cider and the wine tasting, also fantastic! All super tasty and extremely reasonably priced! We will definitely be returning to camp and also want to try out one of the cute shepherd huts available to book. An overall fantastic weekend and can’t thank Cwm Deri enough for that, can’t wait to see you again soon!

Really great tour, with lots of history behind the distillery and how the unique spirits are created. Also the option to taste at the end, or take a mini sample home with you. Reasonably priced gift shop as well. Would really recommend a visit!

Visiting family in Pwllheli, a visit to the Purple Moose shop was an obvious choice. I have long been a fan of Dark Side of the Moose and a mixed case of Dark Side and Ysgawen will keep me going for a while! The staff in the shop are extremely helpful and the selection of merchandise is wide ranging. I’ll definitely be back again when next in North Wales.

Parva Farm Vineyard

Reviewed By HannahSparrow17

We stumbled upon the vineyard whilst walking around Tintern Abbey - and I'm very glad we did! Upon entry, we were greeted by Colin - a chap with loads of character - who gave us advice regarding the self-guided tour of his vineyard (£2 per person - easily worth it). Returning to the shop, we were given a complimentary wine tasting, with an explanation of each, including a brief lesson in Welsh! Colin is not a pompous toff, he's very down to earth and entertaining - we laughed a lot. Tintern Parva has won many awards for its wines, which resulted in us buying 4 bottles. Great trip out. The only thing that would make this better is if there were a wine bar on the side, so we could fill ourselves on locally made wines, and roll ourselves down the hill to the hotel at the end.
