We got the English audio guide at the entry – this was a really good museum. Some of the displays were really immersive and of course the big panorama up the top. Must-see when in Volgograd, I really enjoyed it. The exhibits were great and I learnt a lot about the town's history in the Battle of Stalingrad.

Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve is the site management of Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex World Heritage site. The museum-reserve offers a wide-range of guided tours in Tatar, Russian and English languages.
Was there with 1 day excursion in July 2020. It takes a while to drive there from Kazan (be ready, some toilets on the way cost a money). This historical and architectual comlex is situated in very beautiful area on the river side with stunning views. In museums you can learn about Tatarstan and tatar's history, migration of different folks. In the cafe there most food is with meat and chicken, if you don't eat this take some food with you.
