Very nicely arranged gallery. Konjovic is famous Serbian painter (my favourite). The Gallery is good opportunity to see more of his artworks in his home town.

What a pleasant surprise! I did not know what to expect but the gallery was great! So many really famous paintings and icons! The rooms were really nice, with different color walls. Even there was a small room to relax while Arabic music was playing to the exhibited painting of oriental motive! The entrance is not even ONE euro! Only 100 dinars (last day of January 2021)! Just unbelievable! The shop has a good choice of books and postcards! I highly recommend!

National museum of Kikinda is located in the very center of Kikinda. The Museum has six departments: archeological, ethnological, historical, natural history, fine art and pedagogical departments. Since 2006 the original remains of one of the mammoth skeletons is kept at the Museum. The Kikinda mammoth named Kika belongs to the species Mammuthus trogontherii (the Steppe Mammoth). With more than 90% of bone mass preserved, it is one of the best preserved in the world. Visitors can enjoy the 3D movie about mammoths, the permanent exhibition, and temporary exhibitions. A manifestation for children, the Mammothfest, that takes place each year in September, marks the anniversary of the discovery of the Kikinda mammoth. The copy of mammoth in real size is in the yard of the museum. Museum gift shop is about 50 m out of the museum. In the museum, visitors can rent a bicycle in order to experience the city on two wheels.

The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection is a home to many anthological artworks of modern Serbian art from the first half of the 20th century, which were donated by the famous collector it was named upon.
The gallery is really nice. I went there on Thursday when it was free entrance. But even outside of it, the price is less than 2 euros! The paintings are very interesting and show all prominent and important painters of modern Serbia/Yugoslavia. My favorite Serbian painting is there : Milan Konjović - Studio II Besides Konjović, there are several paintings by Nadežda Petrović, Sava Šumanović and many more. Postcards are only 40 dinars (small and bigger ones) so I bought more than 10 for my collection and for sending! Highly recommend!
