SEE THE PAST COME TO LIFE; Step back in time and experience life in Boracay as it was before the tourists arrived Visit the FIRST INTERACTIVE LIVING MUSEUM in the Philippines!
This place should not be called “museum” at all since the place is by no means any traditional museum experience. It’s more like cultural learning center. The host went through great length to prepare the place to demonstrate the old phillippines cultural values. By having people dressed up in traditional clothes, they show you what th old phillipines culture looks like. They show you what people back then do to go to the toilet, how you can use their archaic bamboos equipment to get water feim the well for taking a bath, how to make fire from dry leaves, how to roll your own cigarette. They also show you how farm: plant the rice stalk, ride the buffalo, cut and filter the rice, etc...The cool thing is you can participate in this interactive learning experience. We learned a great deal and the kids will enjoy it as well. This is really exceeding our expectations for “museum”

“The Biggest Weekend Food Market In Cebu” Sugbo Mercado opened on September 25, 2015, with the goal of being the first and biggest year-round weekly food market in Cebu and as a venue for the best of the best of Cebu as well as budding new players in the local food industry to showcase their products in a tour de force of local pride.
Sugbo Mercado is filled with 10s of food stalls, selling all different kinds of meals, drinks, and desserts. Plates are around 100–150 pesos so it’s a great way of trying a number of different dishes in one go. It’s kind of like a Philippino Borough Market (if you’re from London and know what that is). The atmosphere is great too and the area feels totally safe. Furthermore there are lots of locals here so it must be good! That also means that you may have to wait a bit for a seat in peak times but no longer than 5-10 minutes. You can enjoy the live singing in the meantime. My sister is vegan and was able to find a mushroom pasta that she could eat, though there wasn’t much else. Vegetarians would be fine though. I believe the Mercado is only open on Thurs-Sundays so check before going. You might want to bring some tissues with you as we struggles to find napkins - though they do give you plastic gloves/utensils to eat the food with.

First Off, Mercato de Mactan has wide and ample parking area. Secondly, the Toilet area is clean and located away from the food stalls. The ground or pathwalk is covered with gravel and stalls are nicely arranged..you can be sure the whole are is clean because there are properly segregated waste bins at every corner.. very well lighted eating areas with decent barn feel tables and chairs..there is also a band that plays during weekends. There are roving security guards at entrances. You'll feel very safe. Overall it is a great venue to experience a wide variety of foods. I highly recommend The BEST food we tried and tasted there is TITA TACOS!!! They serve THE BEST TACOS in town with a Pinoy twist!!! You should try it! Only Php99 for solo,Php299 Medium and Php 499 for Large orders for your family!!!...Iced Tea pitcher is Php75 only!!!!So healthy and filling! It's a MUST! See you there! Located in Soong, Brgy. Boracay’s most recognizable attraction is this oddly shaped volcanic formation topped by a statue of the Virgin Mary.
Willy’s Rock is arguably Boracay’s most photograph landmark. It’s rocky outcrop that forms a tidal island with a statue of the Virgin Mary on top of the steps that are carved into the volcanic rock.
