Part of the bio for this company reads: “These local people are not sponsored or working with travel agencies. We chose them because we thought they were welcoming, open-minded, and motivated about sharing their culture.”...this statement is 100% accurate. Opi and Thái (not to mention their many friends and associates) were kind, patient, and beyond attentive on our 4 day trip. You truly get a unique cultural experience. Each day is well planned out with riding, trekking, and, of course, food + drinks. The scenery is obviously outrageously beautiful but what stands out about this tour was the connection. Yes, we got a history lesson and facts, but we also sang songs, danced, laughed, and I believe truly bonded. These guys are so sincere and sweet. Both guides regularly checked in to make sure we were happy. Opi would say “let us know if you want to change anything or stop somewhere unscheduled because your eyes might see something mine don’t.” I really can’t say enough about this tour, Ha Giang, it’s people and traditions, and Opi and Thái. You will most assuredly have a once in a lifetime experience!

We had planned to buy a bike to ride from HCMC to Hanoi. Following much research on the topic of buying bikes in Vietnam, I consistently found articles from Tigit Motorbikes. Although possibly more pricy, they had great reviews so we decided to rent instead. Initially, we had planned for 30-day trip (30-day visa), though we arrived to Saigon a little later than planned. We contacted the company fairly last minute and crossed our fingers. We were able to get a bike and there were actually several bikes available so we got our pick. Unfortunately, half-way (?) through our trip we had to abandon our plans. We dropped the bike off in DaNang (rather than Hanoi as planned). The staff in DaNang were very supportive and helpful. We received a partial refund (which was a bonus and greatly appreciated). After dropping off our bike, the staff assisted us in arranging transport to the airport. The bike was great. Zero issues from HCMC to DaNang. The detailed maps provided were a great help (as was the Tigit website). The staff in both locations were excellent and very customer-oriented. We were sad to have left early and not completed our journey. It is definetly on our list for the future. Tigit will be our go-to rental company when we return. One note: we rented a Honda Blade (which is on the smaller side, especially for two people). We appreciated the small size when trying to navigate the traffic in HCMC, but as the days went on, a plusher seat would have been much appreciated. Certainly, something to consider when making the full trek.

What an awesome experience and a great challenge! I really enjoyed the day of trekking - one of my favourite experiences in Vietnam. There were times I thought I wouldn’t make it but I’m glad I pushed through because the views were spectacular and definitely worth it! Lunch was delicious and an awesome experience, walking through the villages and being able to eat traditional food with members of a Hmong family. I would definitely recommend this trekking tour to everyone. A truly unforgettable experience - thank you ????

Outstanding Bike rental service. I have to say that I am on a budget traveler but at the same time very demanding with the services I purchase. Before coming across this shop I contacted many rental shops in Hanoi. This one was by far the one with better motorbikes, the newest bikes, better prices and absolutely outstanding service provide by Mr Bihn that went above and beyond to provide me with the best service. I can only say thanks, I rented with him twice. He is super friendly and easy going. He provides good helmet, and bag rack on the back if needed at no extra cost. First time I rented a super newish Honda for 5 days that ended up being 11. The motorbike behaved fantastically. He was in direct contact with me to ensure I was having no issues. Second time I rented a bike for 7 days to go to Cao Ban province. He advised me semi manual but I ended renting an authomatic Honda Old looking bike. The motorbike broke down 2 days after initiating my trip but he reacted extraordinarily quickly by sending a brand new motorbike semi manual the day after on a bus and offered me to rent the bike for 2 additional days at no extra cost which was a super nice gesture. Best bikes, best price, best customer service, best on road service. When I come back I will rent with him again and you should do it now too !!

We went on the tour on May 2nd and it was a great experience! Our guide Kum was lovely, they picked us up in a modern, well-maintained car from our hotel and drove us to the boat. The boat itself was great, too - modern, lifeboats, everything you would expect and the great thing was that we had it for ourselves. In COVID-times I didn't want to be with strangers on a boat, so the 6m VND for a private tour for 2 persons were totally worth it. We went snorkeling at different places and if you wanted you could even go explore one of the islands by foot (beware, there was a lot of garbage). The corals where great and Kum knew exactly where there are great spots. Snorkel Equipment was also modern. Sometimes there were 1-2 other boats with private groups, but you always had your privacy and boats were distanced from another. No comparison to the big boats with 50-100 people on it that we say on our way back. After snorkeling we went to a nice beach bar, all other people had already left for the day and we just relaxed and watched the sunset. So overall a fantastic experience, couldn't gone better and for the service you get a totally reasonable price.

We had a great tour. My family of four were each passengers on the back of a motorbike. We did the Hue Van Pass from Danang to Hue. They sent our bags to the hotel by bus as we had a lot of luggage. They were safe, and professional. It is true what you read that the bikes speedometers don’t work and they are old bikes. But this did not effect our day in any way. They wrote safely and at the speed we requested. We had an awesome day and stopped at many sites. The guys were fun and all had a sense of humour.

We were collected from our hotel in the Old Quarter on time and met our guide Duong (aka Sugar) He spoke very good English and was very friendly. Once at Halong Bay, it was quite chilly and misty at times but we knew it could be in March. All the meals were very nice but a lot of the dishes were deep fried. All the activities were very interesting but I think could have been quite overcrowded if it was busier. The photo of the room gives the impression it's large, spacious and gleaming, they were actually small, cramped and slightly dowdy. But we didn't spend much time in the room anyway so not really a problem. The downstairs rooms are larger but are noisier as they are closer to the engine. Waited a long time for the coach when we got off. All in all a very good trip.
