During our visit to the Yarra Valley visiting wineries we dropped into this place hoping to have some lunch. Little did we know that venuse can get booked up weeks in advance so some advance planning is required. I am familiar with their wines as I do have a few in my wine rack at home. The vineyard was first planted in 1971, and has over 170 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Nebbiolo and Gamay Noir. We browsed through the store which has small goods, gifts and wines etc for sale. Next time with better planning we hope to dine here and do some wine tasting.

We hired a self drive boat for our work team activity. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. The boat was immaculate and had everything you needed. The boats are much nicer than the other self drive boats you can get on the Yarra. I would highly recommend Melbourne Boat Hire.

Our trip is for the social, down to earth and young at heart travellers and locals that not only want to enjoy great wines and cheese, but have a laugh doing it.  We'll pick you up in the morning and mainly focus on everyone getting to know each other. We get everyone to add to a Spotify playlist so we have some tunes and spend the first hour just chatting! Our trip is a little democracy. Everything we do on my trip is discussed by the group in the morning. I will give you options to choose from including 50-70 different wineries, cheese factories and chocolate factories, Cider houses, restaurants and breweries.  However if you just want to come along and put your trust in us, we will visit 4 four unique wineries, all with a point of difference, with a 45 minute stop at a very scenic one for some wine, live music and snacks that I encourage you to bring along.  We'll also go for a search for Kangaroos in a secret spot we know about!

Inclusions: Beverages, 6-7 Tastings at each winery (included in price), Driver/guide, Live entertainment (Acoustic guitar), Private tour, Local guide, Wine tastings, Alcoholic Beverages, Platter of cheese, Air-conditioned vehicle

Exclusions: Lunch- Please bring your own snacks which we will enjoy at one of the scenic wineries

One of the best tours I’ve done in Australia. I’ve seen and done so many things in just two days. Driving along the Great Ocean Road, learning how to stand up on a surf board in Lorne, feeding birds and seeing wild Koalas in Kennett River, eating Australia’s best ice cream, having nice talks and guitar play around the campfire, making friends, sleeping in a teepee, visiting Loch Ard Gorge and of course the 12 Apostles. It was an amazing weekend with amazing people.

Holidaying at home this year, we researched and studied reviews widely before deciding to undertake a two day Great Ocean Road private tour with Acacia Luxury Private Tours. Booking was simple and efficient and Paul attended to every detail to make our journey just perfect even down to our preferred beverages and snacks in the vehicle. On the day Stuart collected us in a super comfortable and luxurious Mercedes Benz vehicle. Stuart grew up in the region and therefore was able to tailor the tour exactly to our desire. We wanted to see wildlife so he was able to take us to off road places where we were able to see kangaroos, koalas, emus and amazing birdlife in the wild. It exceeded every expectation. We could not have done it justice if we had driven ourselves. The whole journey is jaw-droppingly beautiful from the beaches to the rainforest and the unforgettable Twelve Apostles. All our meals and the luxury lodging in picturesque Port Fairy were perfect too. We definitely recommend the Great Ocean Road journey with the expert team at Acacia. Thank-you so much guys.
