Open during exhibition times, otherwise during working hours or on request. Galleri Geitodden is located in an old fishing catches depot on a wharf by Skibbusundet. The building has also functioned as a ice storehouse and net repairs workshop. They have ca. 150 m2 on 2nd floor, and entrance via atelier called Tegnebua.

Founded in 1881 it is located in the center of downtown Kristiansand on the top of The Public Library. The galley presents changing exhibitions of Norwegian and international contemporary art. Guided tours for groups by appointment, adapted teaching program for children and youths in separate workshops. Free admission. Open during exhibitions Tuesday-Sunday 12-16. Mondays closed.

It has now been overhauld and painted innthe colors it had during ww2. It looks fantastic. Absolutely worth the visit
