This former unofficial capital of France sits just 10 miles from Paris and is easily reachable by train. Even though the Chateau de Versailles has been known as the epitome of indulgent luxury for centuries, seeing it in person is a jaw-dropping experience. The chateau's magnificent gardens are free, but it's worth shelling out for a day ticket to see the interior—although it does make going back to even a fancy hotel seem rather humdrum.

Open to the public, the Paris Temple is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Visitors can walk through the colorful gardens lined with towering trees, sit by the fountains and cascading waterfall, enjoy the beautiful views, and feel the peace of the grounds. While you're there, you can take a guided tour at the Visitors' Center.
It was amazing for me to visit the France Temple Visitor Center from the comfort of my own home. With an internet connection and my laptop I was able to enjoy this beautiful and peaceful place that is thousands of miles away, its just amazing. The tour guides did an amazing job showing me around, teaching me about the Temple. They have this incredible temple model that has intricate details of the actual temple so I could see how it looked inside, they taught we what members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do in this amazing building. I truly hope to travel there in person someday. I would highly recommend you schedule a virtual tour soon.

A very beautiful church. Great stained glass windows. Also check out church of Norte Dame that lies in the opposite quadrant.
