Ventura, officially the City of San Buenaventura, is the county seat of Ventura County, California, United States. European explorers encountered a Chumash village, referred to as Shisholop, in Ventura while traveling along the Pacific coast. The eponymous Mission San Buenaventura was founded nearby in 1782 where it benefitted from the water of the Ventura River. The town grew around the mission compound and incorporated in 1866. The development of nearby oil fields in the 1920s and the age of automobile travel created a major real estate boom during which many designated landmark buildings were constructed. The mission and these buildings are at the center of a downtown that has become a cultural, retail, and residential district and visitor destination.

Amazing immersive experience! I went with a good group of 4 friends and all of us had the absolute best time at this escape room! It is run by a very brilliant and kind crew who explained everything clearly and had a great balance between letting us figure out clues ourself and giving hints when my group asked. The 2 rooms we did, Mad Scientist and Games Room, were both incredibly creative and decorated. I consider myself a smart and creative person, and I hate to say I was quite puzzled myself and had a difficult time getting my way out, but that means the rooms are great and at a difficulty level that is both invigorating and fun for everyone of all ages. I very much recommend this escape room for anyone looking for a fun and an immersive experience. Everything from the directions getting there and check in to leaving at the end went extremely smooth. Can't wait to experience more from Code Stat Escape Rooms in the future! I truly could not speak more highly of my group's experience at this Ventura escape room!

The Ultimate Escape Rooms located on the ocean in the beautiful Ventura Harbor Village are a fun, physical, adventurous way to challenge your mind. Check out our year round promos. Each room has a different theme. There are up to eight people in each room when the door locks you have 60 minutes to solve a series of puzzles using the elements of the room. This is a great Team Building activity for corporate events, sports teams or even families.Wonderful for date night, birthday parties, events, game night, and things to do, entertainment, group activities, family fun, girls night out, guys night out, bachelor party, bachelorette party, puzzles,fun night, something new, adventure, amusement activity, event venue, corporate event, travel activity, destination,and many more. This was our very first escape room experience. Although I feel like some of the clues had nothing to do with solving the puzzles we both enjoyed it very much. We definitely want to go back and try all of the other rooms. Our host gave us good hints and made us feel good that we weren’t getting it at times. We have no experience elsewhere but we thought this was great!!!
