My daughter and I spent three great days in Cortina skiing recently. Having booked equipment from abroad more than several times, I wasn't sure what type of place we'd walk into (staff, lines, service, etc.)- in summary, we couldn't have been more pleased! First, we totally lucked out that our hotel (Hotel Ambra Cortina) was a 30-second walk from Boarderline, a cool little shop in a great location, only a 5-minute walk to the Faloria cable car. Second and most importantly, Paolo and his staff were so accommodating, efficient and pleasant. We showed up the evening before skiing the following day, everything was already prepped and ready and it literally took us 5 minutes for both of us to get geared up. Additionally, given the busy season, Paolo gave us the scoop about what ski areas to avoid because of lines and gave us great recommendations re: the best places to ski in and around Cortina! I'd HIGHLY recommend Paolo/Boarderline and his team- a great shop, cool people and some nice gear for sale as well:) Greg/Washington, DC

Skiing, walks, via ferratas were all part of my formative years and desire to explore more never really went away. Graduating in Forestry and subsequently managing the recluse refuge Capanna Punta Penia (the heighest refuge in Dolomites, at the top of the Marmolada, the highest peak of the Dolomite) were the next natural steps. The last one is to become a certified Alpine Guide, and share my knowledge of mountains with the world. Discover with me the Dolomites and the Alps of Nortern Italy!

Hi everybody I'm Julia! I grew up in the beautiful Dolomites. Since 2015 I have worked as a freelance ski instructor, and recently graduated with a degree in Tourism, Sport and Event Management. I love traveling, meeting new people, and all kinds of outdoor sports! I love food and am interested in all different cuisine, but my favorite will always be Italian cuisine. Through the experiences I create, I would love to show you all this amazing place has to offer!
