We booked the easy rafting tour for our family of 4 and had a great time. The tourist season was quiet due to covid so we were the only ones on the boat with two guides and they were both really friendly, fun and instructive. The ride was not too challenging but it was fun and enjoyable. In a bumpy section of the river, our youngest son fell in the water and one of the guides was incredibly alert and immediately jumped in to "rescue" him - that was quiet impressive, it took the guide a second to work out what was going on and how to handle what could have been a tricky situation. I thought this was a great sign of how experienced and professional the guides were. The hot cocoa stop was fun and we went through some stunning landscape. The company was also flexible and helpful after we had to delay our visit due to unforeseen events and we were able to change the day of our trip. All in all a great experience with great people!

We went kayaking down Svartá river for your girls birthday, she just turned 8. She started the trip out in tow but about halfway down the river she wanted to try for herself and finished the tour kayaking on her own. Our five year old boy was in tow the whole time and loved it. He wants to go again as soon as possible. It was a great experience for the whole family and we will most definitely try some of the other tours :)
