Victoria is known as the City of Gardens and on this private tour you'll discover two of the best. We'll start our day at the world-famous Butchart Gardens. As we drive along scenic country roads, learn about the fascinating history of the gardens and the unique vision of Jennie Butchart. An early arrival at the gates means we'll miss the crowds and with 22 ha to explore, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the gardens. These stunning gardens are a National Historic Site and have something to offer in every season, from dazzling displays of spring flowers through to the magical Christmas illuminations. A short drive through beautiful countryside brings us to our second stop: the Gardens at HCP (Horticultural Centre of the Pacific). The "gardeners' garden" is located in a conservation park and we'll explore nature trails, wetlands, and bird watching areas alongside more formal gardens, including Canada's largest Bonsai garden.

This past year has been rather drab with all the restrictions and laying low that has been dragging on and on. Erika changed all that for me and my bubble. She easily curated a perfect day of fun and adventure based on who we are and she was an amazing facilitator the whole time. I have not had a day of that much fulfillment in along time and I have never had a day of that much fun that was so effortless for me. twofiveo does the work. Thanks for the wonderful lifetime memory!

This was a fantastic way to see some of downtown Victoria from someone who lives and loves what he does - Andy lives right down by the harbour/Chinatown and knew so much about the area. Stops were each unique and places we’d seen on our previous strolls but hadn’t considered going in! COVID protocols followed and while not necessarily good for business, the smaller group made for a very personal experience - 5/5!

3 Hour Tour ~ The sheltered waters of the Ucluelet harbour offer an ideal location for an introduction to sea kayaking. Our tours depart from the beach at our Vancouver Island kayaking centre. There are many options for this tour, we may paddle up to a beautiful hidden waterfall, experience and learn about the local fish hatchery, or explore the outer harbour limits. The harbour is full of wildlife; watch for black bears along the shoreline, rich intertidal life beneath your kayak and eagles circling overhead. Harbour seals pop their heads up to watch us paddle by and sea lions bark to us from the fishing docks along the water’s edge. Historic old pre-wartime houses, big steel fishing boats and old wooden trollers tell the story of this quaint fishing village. Ucluelet is one of the most accessible ports on the west coast of Vancouver Island where you can experience the geography, the rich sea life and wildlife, and have an excellent paddling opportunity.

Inclusions: 1/2 hr instruction and 2 1/2 hrs on the water., Top of the line Kayak Equipment, PFD, paddling jacket, neoprene booties, gloves, dry bags for your camera, A snack and water bottle, Certified Guide Instructors
