This is a beautiful gallery that honours the spirit and intent of well-known and respected Indigenous artists to showcase their histories and cultures. I love that the staff are knowledgeable about the artists and the artists' "craft". Lovely, tasteful venue, and easy to view items, Prices are reasonable for the high quality of the products. Relaxed atmosphere. A great place to buy gifts.

Visit this 'big' museum in the small village of Shawnigan Lake - it's guaranteed to surprise you. For over thirty years, the museum has celebrated the history and the people of Shawnigan Lake (and surrounding area). Drop in for extensive information on the spectacular Kinsol Trestle; renowned Canadian artist EJ Hughes; the true Canadian Last Spike and many other significant history-bites.
A colorful walk through the island's local history, and the museum's ongoing search for authentic stories and evidence of the community's early residents, landmarks and fascinating events.

Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping. We are situated right on the exceptional Chesterman's Beach in Tofino, on the North end, next to the famous Wickaninnish Inn

The Cedar Farmers Market runs every Sunday from Mother’s Day until the end of October. We are at our NEW location: Woodbank School, 1984 Woobank Road. We are now allowing dogs on the market field, but they must be kept on a SHORT locked leash. Our market features locally grown fruit & vegetables, ethically raised meat, sustainable seafood, potted plants, fresh-cut flowers, pottery, jewelry, food trucks, hot locally-roasted coffee, home-made ice cream, all-natural bath & beauty care, home decor, and so much more!
This is not your high-priced touristy market. This is where locals shop for the best quality fresh produce and arts and crafts!
