The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

I try to visit the MAC Centre at least once a month to view the exhibitions, and attend an art opening when applicable. Fabulous talent and a great way to spend an hour of reflection. They offer magnificent classes - as a working woman I only wish that there could be more in the evening or on weekends as I truly miss figure drawing. I know this will be available in time post-pandemic. The gift shop is a wonderful addition to to community full of many interesting local finds. If you havent checked the MAC Centre out - I highly recommend popping in periodically throughout the year :)

Learn the art of traditional silversmithing in the heart of historic downtown Victoria. Argentum is a new silversmithing school offering classes and workshops for every skill level. Argentum also features open-studio bench rentals and it's retail supply shop features all the tools, materials and gemstones you'll need to set up and continue in your silversmithing endeavours!

I am a painter and photographer specializing in pet portraits and wedding photography. I am the President (2017-2019) of the Sooke Arts Council and I am sometimes lucky enough to be in the Sooke Fine Arts Show. I have my own gallery, open by appointment. I would love to take you to gala art events and show you some of my favourite photography locations.
