Sunsets & Desserts tour What a great way to spend a Sunday evening :) We paddled in calm waters through the harbour towards Thornton creek where we were lucky enough to spot a bear! Shannon was an excellent guide and she chose a great beach for us to watch the sunset and enjoy our lovely presented desserts. We cannot recommend Hello Nature enough and would 100% book another tour with them!

Gods Pocket is an exceptional area to explore and to seek out wildlife viewing opportunities. The deep upwelling of cold water and currents offer plenty of food to our larger marine mammals including the Northern Resident Orcas, Humpback whales and Stellar Sea Lions. Knowing the times of the currents and having local knowledge is incredibly valuable to maximize our flow with these currents and to position ourselves to view wildlife without interfering in their behaviours. Highlights in the area are most definitely the high probability of whale sighting and exploring parts of the Marine Park.

The crew at Wild Root Journeys are heart-centered and ecologically-aware, they tread lightly and have developed a wonderful balance of getting us where we need to go safely, and having a beautiful, relaxing time exploring along the way. I loved paddling along the shoreline and learning about all the sea creatures. It was amazing to eat a fish that we caught that same day, and to listen to the sea lions bark away. I really enjoyed hearing stories of the Indigenous history, presence, and connection to the land and sea and everything in between. WRJ has been building relationship in the areas that they paddle for many years, and I could feel that. It was assuring to know and feel that I was paddling with someone who was truly welcome in the area. Every journey I have paddled with Wild Root has brought me to a whole nother world; an experience that is more and more challenging to find these days. I am so excited to get out there and paddle with WRJ again!

Our experience allows you to ditch Google maps and Yelp reviews to feel less like a tourist and more like an explorer. Our hikes visit gorgeous beaches and sweeping landscapes across the island, stopping throughout to check out the small towns that are the heart of the island. Plus, our itinerary is carefully crafted so you can skip the planning and booking headache, ignore the niggly things and enjoy the natural ones. We have everything taken care of including transportation, accommodation, breakfasts and one BBQ dinner so kick back while we take the reins and get you off the beaten path. We provide the option to customize your experience with activities like whale watching and surf lessons. Going on a trip is a chance to connect with people from all over the world, and we think that’s pretty special, so we keep our group sizes to a max of 12 guests. The tone is always upbeat and personable, making for a great atmosphere for both groups and lone rangers!

This past year has been rather drab with all the restrictions and laying low that has been dragging on and on. Erika changed all that for me and my bubble. She easily curated a perfect day of fun and adventure based on who we are and she was an amazing facilitator the whole time. I have not had a day of that much fulfillment in along time and I have never had a day of that much fun that was so effortless for me. twofiveo does the work. Thanks for the wonderful lifetime memory!

My partner and I only had 2 weeks to cram in the whole of BC. This totally ticked all the boxes. We got to see the highlights and some of the smaller, quieter tourist spots. Steph, our driver, was ace and the people travelling with us made it our most memorable trip so far. We went in August so the attractions were busy which is to be expected. The activities included were great and the hikes were incredible, with Steph as a personal tour guide. We got the accommodation package which was worth the money and totally hassle free. I would recommend Moose Bus to anyone, even if it's simply a day trip.
