Vancouver was founded as “Gastown” by an Englishman with a penchant for beer and storytelling. Today Gastown is a historic section of the Canadian metropolis, and the lively pubs still reflect the area’s former status as a sort of community drinking center. The city’s forests, grand parks, and impressive suspension bridge beckon travelers to explore them, as do the city’s shops and museums. Relive the glory of the 2010 Winter Games with visits to Olympic venues and the marvelous Olympic Cauldron.

This was an excellent tour, even though the wine wasn't as good as I had wanted it to be. Michael took us to 3 wineries, including an unusual mead winery. Then, after lunch we visited what must be the world's (at least Canada's) biggest, in terms of different flavors, ice cream parlor. More than 200 different flavors of ice cream! An excellent tour, provided lots of context to the development of the wine culture in the area and a lot of history along the way. Great tour. Worth the money.

This was our 4th time taking the Zodiac Tour to Granite Falls. We were lucky enough to have Alex (for a 2nd time) as our guide. He truly is amazing at his job! Not only is he knowledgeable, he's great at listening to questions and requests. We had a passenger with special needs on our boat and he was AMAZING with her. She had the time of her life. So did we. 5 stars all around. The views are absolutely insane. The boat is A LOT of fun. If you have a way to request Alex, do it!
