As Ginsmiths we are totally inspired by BC's wilderness diversity, from our rugged coastlines to pristine mountains, waterways and unique botanicals. We became Vancouver’s First Micro-Distillery back in 2013, when we started distilling our first spirits, all from a place of passion and a devotion for gin. Our skill for crafting noteworthy botanical blends for our spirits speaks for itself. Outfitted with our custom designed 300L copper pot still, we handcraft all our premium spirits in small-batches from our unique botanical blends that allow our spirits to speak for themselves. The result – a host of international awards for our premium Gins and seasonal spirits. We want you to think of our long table as a place where kindred spirits meet!

The Nut Merchant is dedicated to offering a selection of the finest nuts and nut based products sourced from around the world. We got our start in 2009 when we introduced a choice of gourmet treats that were gluten free, nutritious and delicious. Seven years later we moved into our new permanent location at Granville Island Public Market, a great place for foodies and families from around world.

Established in 2010, The Liberty Distillery is a true artisanal distillery. We select only the best organic BC grains which are carefully fermented and triple-distilled in our traditional hand crafted copper pot stills; producing ultra-premium Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, and other seasonal limited batches with character and distinction. Open seven days a week, we welcome you to experience our Signature Cocktails, take a distillery tour, or to purchase your own bottle of Liberty Distillery's best!

We are a craft brewery located in the heart of East Vancouver, and we have a vibrant and welcoming tasting room for which you can visit. We sell beer by the glass, flight, growler fill and also in cans & bottles to go. We have seasonally changing food available, as well as food trucks on weekends. Our tasting room is COVID friendly, and new this year we have a covered (but not heated) patio for you to enjoy drinks outside. Since COVID-19 began, we have initiated a regular cleaning schedule, increased sanitization and proper physical distancing to help keep you safe while you visit. Our merchandise is ever changing and available for sale, along with gift cards and art prints. The Charles Clark Gallery attached to our tasting room features a new artists monthly, and for those who prefer rare and unique beers, our Vintage Bottle List has beers we have previously released but are no longer available to purchase anywhere. You have to visit us to see current availability.

Tours of Canada's first modern microbrewery last about a half hour and include a souvenir glass and a taste of four brews. Kids are welcome; they get a taste of root beer. COST: C$8.75. July and Aug., Sun.-Wed. 10-7, Thurs.-Sat. 10-8; Sept.-June, daily 10-7; call for tour times.
