Vancouver was founded as “Gastown” by an Englishman with a penchant for beer and storytelling. Today Gastown is a historic section of the Canadian metropolis, and the lively pubs still reflect the area’s former status as a sort of community drinking center. The city’s forests, grand parks, and impressive suspension bridge beckon travelers to explore them, as do the city’s shops and museums. Relive the glory of the 2010 Winter Games with visits to Olympic venues and the marvelous Olympic Cauldron.

Whistler and the surrounding area is beautiful and it is nice to get out of town and to enjoy nature. Ria, my guide and driver was outstanding : knowledgeable, friendly, safety-conscious, and had great sense of humor. Bella, her pooch, joined us on the trip, which made it even more delightful. I would definitely recommend this trip.

My hubby and I booked for Oct. 31st - on Halloween - and we joked that it was like going 'adult trick-or-treating'! Our trusted guide, Sean, was the 'host with the most', offering tons of local and historical knowledge - he really made the tour fun and enjoyable, with all kinds of tasty treats along the way. Excellent selection of restaurants, and great samplings from each one - and bonus, all within reasonable walking distance. Highly recommend this tour for locals and tourists alike!

My friends and I (based in various places around Ontario) did a virtual Craft Beer Tour with Jordan out of Vancouver. It was the highlight of our COVID lockdown! We were given a beer and cheese shopping list in advance. Jordan was a charming, fun, and knowledgeable host. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Took the tour in April 2019. The guide was very helpful and the hotel pickup and drop off was good. Shannon Falls was a worthwhile stop. Whistler was interesting and busy but we did not go on the gondola ride at extra cost. It is true that a Greyhound bus trip directly to Whistler is cheaper but you won't stop at the other places. We had a meal at a crowded restaurant full of skiers and socialites with a line out the front door. The native museum in Whistler was informative. However, I thought the bus tour cost for two was a little on the high side especially after a $20 tip. Nevertheless, it was a worthwhile break from downtown Vancouver.
