The Valencian Community, or the Valencian Country, is an autonomous community of Spain. It is the fourth most populous autonomous community after Andalusia, Catalonia and Madrid with more than 4.9 million inhabitants. Its homonymous capital Valencia is the third largest city and metropolitan area in Spain. It is located along the Mediterranean coast on the east side of the Iberian peninsula. It borders with Catalonia to the north, Aragon and Castilla–La Mancha to the west, and Murcia to the south. The Valencian Community consists of three provinces which are Castellón, Valencia and Alicante.

I participated in several tours of Celia since her career start. I was fascinated by her professionalism and I could clearly see her dedication to her greater home area by her profound knowledge about its history and culture. A excursion departing from Valencia city to discover the largest underground river in Europe. We will pick you up from the hotels or a meeting point in Valencia and we'll drive you to Vall d'Uixo, the village where the cave is. Once we arrive, we can use the rest rooms, take a coffer or whatever needed at the restaurants, bars and shops. At 10:00 o clock we take the boat and going among the river. There is also a dry zone, where we can go on foot during 10 minutes aprox. and return to the boat to continue the trip inside the cave.

On our visit we will explore the inside of the cave, with one of the highest caverns in all Spain. We will observe the various natural forms and shapes that the rocks have taken, and our guide will inform us of many interesting facts while we are inside the cave. Calpe is a small fishing village, which, to be sure, has become a tourist destination, but still retains the charm of being a beautiful and pleasant city. It is located on a nose that ends in a high cliff with beach on both sides, relaxing place where one can enjoy life. There are many fine and reasonably priced eateries along the seafront. There are and many good hotels and holiday apartments available in the area for those who want to spend more time here.
