I don’t think buying this card did any good for us during our weekend in Paris. It does not give you access to the Eiffel Tower (not even the lousy 1st floor) which is basically the most important symbol of Paris. Also it does not give you Skip the Line right in Versailles which is kind of a big deal since you spend 1 hour waiting in line and only have 2 days to use the card.. it does get you to a faster line in Louvre but it’s the same queue for the people who bought the regular ticket online.. soooo still a big queue. Anyway I think in 2 days you don’t have time to see half of what the card has to offer because 1) there is always a line 2) the monuments are far apart from each other most of the time you can’t walk from one place to the other and have to catch the RER or Metró which makes you waste time in transports. So I recommend you checking for single entrance in each one of the atractions. Pay attention that the Arch de Triumphe has been closing on saturdays due to social movements, this was important and nobody told us that at the ticket office in gare du nord. Actually they didn’t tell us anything useful because the people there don’t speak English and just keep responding to you in French..

Ignore Rick Steves and the other clowns promoting this stuff. This pass promises jump the line and easier entry into a ton of sites. It's kinda like a useless coupon book a high school kid might sell as a fundraiser. It gives one good place or two and the rest of the sites are not that good. For instance, we used it for the Louvre. Keep in mind there will be others with better tickets or advanced appointments. At the Louvre we were placed in a separate line while the other ticketed people went in before us. And they went in and went in and went in. Not so much for skipping a line. Buy the metro tickets separately. Oh and don't let the guys at the store tell you that you'll have an extra day with the attractions pass vs the museum pass. Nope. The aquarium scanned our card and we lost a day. We spent nearly $500 and maybe used $75 worth. The value is horrible.

After comparing cost benefit of Paris Pass and the Museum Pass against my interests, I finally decided to go with the latter, 4 days I thought it was enough for me. In general, the Museum Pass allowed me easy, fast access to most of the places I visited, perhaps the Louvre access line was the most difficult one. I did not have to follow any line to purchase anything. Besides, the cost of the Pass was lower than if I had purchased the single tickets separately; I just had to purchase a ticket to access the Versalles gardens because the day of my visit they held the so called Singing Fountains Show; I easily did it through the Versalles complex site. As a reference guide, here’s what I visited in these 4 days: Day 1 Sainté-Chapelle (1h) Conciergerie (1h) Pantheon (1h) L’Organgerie (3h) I even attended a football match at Parc des Princes afterwards. Day 2 Versailles complex the whole day Arc des Triumph at night Day 3 Rodin museum (2h30 including lunch) Louvre (as of 14h thru 21h45) Day 4 Picasso Museum (1h30) D’Orsay Museum (4-5 hours) Remarks: Cost of the 4-days Museum Pass: E$62 (Single access fee for the same attractions would cost more) (I saved time needed to purchase tickets through Internet sites, or directly at the attractions’ entrance) Single ticket for the Versalles’ Singing Fountains show: E$9,50 Transportation: I moved by metro and / or bus lines (train to Versailles), sometimes just walking from one attraction to another one. I did not use any taxi or so. Starting time: Everyday for the first attraction, I got there prior to the opening hour to start the visit as soon as they opened. I had no issue with the Museum Pass when I showed it at the entrance / gate of the museums / attractions.

Everything in this zoo is just fantastic. Get there when it opens and you have the privilege of watching the animals being let out and doing what comes naturally to them. I can see why this is one of the top 5 zoos in the world. Their conservation and breeding programmes are superb, the animals are all very healthy, fit and look happy. Those that need room to roam have it in abundance. The penguins and sea lions have the cleanest pools I have ever seen with lots of places to view them underwater. Well done Beauval, you have got everything right. Thank you for the experience.
