But Lofoten islands are history, culture, and folklore as well and we want you to be a part of their past history. The fantastic fishing villages of Henningsvær and Nusfjord remind us of a glorious past; Henningsvær and its interesting and picturesque architecture, Nusfjord and the importance of fishing during the Middle Ages; The magnificent arctic lights have inspired and continue to inspire artists from all over the world.

Cruise past Lofoten’s tallest peaks in magnificent evening sunlight and complete silence aboard a modern electric ship. Step ashore to discover Henningsvær before the return cruise, when you’ll be served an Arctic Tapas dinner. Take in the majestic wall of the Lofoten mountains from panoramic decks and lounges, getting a new perspective in complete silence. On the way we’ll launch an underwater drone, bringing you closer to the rich marine life that provides both Lofoten and the world with delicacies like sea urchins, kelps and crabs. On arrival in Henningsvær we make a stop so you can visit one of the galleries or explore the picturesque fishing village on your own. As you board for the return cruise to Svolvær we’ll serve our Arctic Tapas dinner, with a modern approach to local and traditional foods. With the sun nearing the horizon, the light Arctic night will color the backdrop of craggy peaks, white sandy beaches, islands and skerries.

Never tried kayaking before? No problem. This tour is a well adapted to beginners, and no previous experience is needed. The kayaks we use are stable tandem kayaks and you will have all necessary instructions before we start. Sea kayaking in Lofoten is truly one of the favourites among visitors. When you embark in a sea kayak you practically sit on the surface of the sea and can navigate it using your own bodily strength. We use stable tandem kayaks on our trips and all necessary equipment is included.

Book a brewery tour where you will get a guided look around the brewery production area with one of our knowledgeable tour guides. Tour will begin in front of the brewery, and then you will move on to the production area where you will learn about the brewery’s history, brewing process and fun facts in a behind-the-scenes experience! We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord: The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. As we reach Trollfjord, we’ll launch an underwater drone, bringing you unique perspectives on the mysterious depths of this fjord. What do you think hides beneath the surface? We’ll spend some time in Trollfjord, exploring as, above us, white-tailed eagles soar against the backdrop of steep mountains. Our engaging crew will tell you about the wildlife, landscape and history of the resilient communities that live in this epic coastal landscape. Onboard there’s a selection of beverages and local foods for purchase.

This is a very cozy excursion, perfect for those who want to enjoy the Northern Lights and take good pictures with the help of our photo guide.  We will search for the magic lights in the north side of the archipelago between old fishing villages and wild Artic nature. During our amazing  experience  we will stop  in a  very old and typical Norwegian pub where we will warm up  enjoying a Norwegian coffee and a good atmosphere. English speaking guide at your disposal. Other languages on request. The tour can be cancelled in case of bad weather conditions or when the solar activity is too low to ensure a good observation.
