Sursagar Lake : This lake is situated in the middle of the city of Vadodara. Originally it was a little pond called ‘Chandan Talav ‘ , which was built by Shri Sureshwar Desai, hence named after him as Sursagar. Boating at Sursagar Lake is one of the best activities to indulge in while you are in Vadodara. As the tall Shiva statue with the trishul rises from the crystal blue water of the lake, you will feel the power of divinity calming your soul. Yes, the imposing statue in the middle of the lake is something that gives an aura of serenity to this lake.
