Snowboarders and skiers head for miles of spectacular slopes with deep fluffy powder and breathtaking mountain views. The Olympic Park provides family-friendly ski programs, rides and shows. Alta, Sundance, Snowbird and Brighton are other popular destinations for cross country and Alpine skiers. Those alluring snowy slopes turn to rolling wildflower fields in the summer. Corral the family, pack a picnic and catch one of the ski lifts for an afternoon of hiking or mountain biking along scenic trails. Head to Salt Lake City, where Temple Square hosts millions of visitors a year. Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park are famous for surreal landscapes from horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters to unusual rock formations and hundreds of natural sandstone arches. Closer to home, wander along the quaint main streets of mountain villages to browse, shop and enjoy lunch at an outdoor café. At the end of the day, head home for an outdoor barbecue and an evening of games. Home rentals blend privacy, space and comfort with the cost-saving advantage of eating some meals at home.

It takes time to get to, but Calf Creek falls are a recommended site to visit.
Great 6 mile hike that was mostly easy with a couple of moderate spots. Fantastic views, some good shady spots and the waterfall at the end was really worth the effort to make it to the end!

Do NOT miss the opportunity to hike Kanarraville falls. This hike is very Unique as well as Awesome. It is truly an enjoyable hiking experience.Tickets are required in advance, so make sure you check out their website to purchase, as well as other pertinent information about the hike. Water hiking shoes highly recommended as you will get wet! We stayed in Cedar City, about 25 minutes away which was great as a base camp with plenty of motels, restaurants & shopping for any last minute items. Once Again, I can not stress enough what a great hike this is! Overall Rating ~ Excellent

The Angels Leading Ledgewalk is a Via Ferrata experience that is located just outside of the world-famous Zion National Park. This adventure will take you to the edge of a 600 ft slot canyon featuring the beautiful Above Zion Waterfall at the end of your journey. This experience is for anyone and everyone because you are safely attached with a harness the entire time.
This was a wonderful adventure I would highly recommend! Using via ferratas, or steel cables and ladders, you climb up rock faces while safely clipped in the whole time. It is an incredible and unique way to see Zion while avoiding the hustle and bustle of the main canyon. Beautiful views, a gorgeous waterfall, and our knowledgeable guides Cindy and Jared made this trip one to remember!

when driving to Sundance/ParkCity or simply in the area, Bridal Veil Falls is a must stop for either a quick stop at the upper parking lot or a hike further down. well worth your time

What a great afternoon adventure. First off, I’m not a hiker… but, I’m trying! My sister and I decided to take a couple of hours (honestly that is all it takes) and go see Donut Falls. Google Maps takes you right to the trail head. There is a very tiny parking lot located at the beginning of the trail. It also has a bathroom for your convenience. We got one of the spots, but we noticed that people also parked along the sides leading up to the lot, too. When we started, we were not sure which path to take! There were no signs indicating which way to go to see the Falls. But, someone who had been there before told us which way to go. Just walk up behind the restrooms and you are on the path to see Donut Falls. When you start, it is a bit of an incline. But, it does level out after a little effort. The trail is very obvious, and while on the hike there are signs indicating which way to go. There is one area where you climb down a rock, and you do have to balance on stones to keep from getting your feet wet. It’s so very pretty and peaceful! My advice is wear good shoes that have some grip – they might get wet. Bring a light jacket, it is cooler up there.

I have visited Kanarra Falls multiple times this year. Ever since the permits were instituted a couple of years ago, demand for this hike has skyrocketed - especially during the Summer and Fall months. I have done this hike in the Spring, Summer and Fall and feel that the months with the best light are June and July. June was especially spectacular as due to the sun's angle at that time, it lights up the canyon walls beautifully - a photographer's dream. I suggest starting this hike at sunrise and then heading straight to the second (some would say third - I say second as it is the second big waterfall) waterfall as the light there is gorgeous early morning. Once you have taken photos there, then head down to the main attraction - by this time the canyon walls around this first waterfall should be glowing and you should get some great photos. Highly recommended!

One of the best stops off scenic highway 150 through the Wasatch national forest. It's a short walk to the falls from the parking lot.
