World Class Circus shows all year round. Easter Pirates adventure, Summer Spectacular featuring legendary Water Spectacular. Halloween Spooktacular show and Christmas Spectacular. One of only 3 purpose built circus buildings left in the entire world, with original sinking ring feature. Built in 1903
Took some friends and children, haven't bee for a few years as you have to have the children as an excuse. Jack Jay and Johnny were very funny, every act was excellent, the children loved the motorcyclists how brave are they there act was spectacular the whole show from beginning to end was greeted with cheers. The show was packed so we did have limited seats but we sat up the top and had an excellent view.A little bit pricey at £15 for children and £23 for an adult we got ours from the tourist information office i think they maybe slightly cheaper. We went to the afternoon performance and as it was raining kept the children amused for a couple of hours.

We attended the Colonel's Review of Trooping the Colour, which is the second and final dress rehearsal. This was the reason for our trip! If you like history, the royals, and pageantry you should attend one of the dress rehearsals or the actual Trooping the Colour. Tickets must be purchased in advance to sit in the bleachers, and you must dress for the occasion. They also asked that out of respect to the royals, to wear a hat, so of course I bought a fascinator! There are numerous regiments and bands, all dressed in their best uniforms. The carriages that would carry the royals on the day were part of the dress rehearsal. The only difference between the dress rehearsal and the actual day is the absence of the royals, however this was reviewed by the Duke of York. We saw some people in the windows of the Horse Guards Building. Speaking to the ladies behind us (Londoners) we were pretty certain that we saw the Duchess of Cambridge, and her children. We also probably saw the Duchess of York and her daughters. The parade was fabulous and the bands were great. We had an "usher" who let us know when we had to stand and sit. You can buy a program, there are restrictions as to what you can bring in with you, you must go through security, and there are port-o-potties. It's an amazing experience!

The immensely poignant London classic, Les Miserables London, is one of the most successful legendary productions by Cameron Mackintosh. Boubil and Schonberg’s spectacular show, Les Miserables celebrated its silver jubilee anniversary on October 2012 and is regarded as the longest running musical of the world.
Excellent we were in the dress circle. The performance was excellent and very powerful an emotional afternoon. If you get chance go and watch this show.

Chorley Theatre is a volunteer-run independent venue staging plays, musicals, pantos, touring comedy, music and films.Built in 1910, it has been owned and operated by amdram group CADOS since 1960 and produces at least 6 full shows per year, plus 2 by Chorley Youth Theatre. It's an ideal venue for comedy shows by top stand-up comedians, and the regular film showings are digitally projected on to the big screen, with Surround Sound. There's a great-priced bar and the building has full disabled access. Any profits go back into the upkeep of the building, and all income comes from ticket and bar sales.
Always a good show - apart from Pantomines which I always choose to miss - my choice not Chorley Little Theatre's fault. I believe they are much appreciated by those who enjoy this genre. Easy to book through Malcolm's Musicland. Parking close by and excellent. Drinks and snacks very good value - don't bring your own support the theatre.

A charming Yorkshire Dales village with three great pubs, an award winning youth hostel, a great village shop, brilliant campsites and some gorgeous walks right from the village. Once you get here, stay a while and get to know the area, it is really great!
Recently we stayed in Kettlewell for our stay cation. This is a lovely village with lots of charm, a village store that knocks out delicious ham sandwiches and 3 good pubs serving great food and beer. The whole village was very welcoming and nice and quiet during the witching hours, they managed the government guidelines on corona virus very well and with respect. See my related review for The Racehorses Hotel.

Visiting The Tower Of London when all the visitors have left is a unique experience. Made much better by the Beefeaters, on this occasion Scott Kelly. We visited on Feb 2nd after booking tickets over 18 month ago. We even arranged our stay in London based upon our tickets. But well worth it. We'd visited a few years ago and enjoyed it so much we hoped we would attend the ceremony again. I could repeat everything the previous reviewers have said, but it has all been said. All I can add is it is definitely worth the visit. It is a brilliant experience to be in the The Tower of London when your part of a small group, usually about 30. To see and hear the soldiers, last post etc is wonderful. The Beefeaters are knowledgeable, friendly and explain the ceremony from start to finish. To be able to attend this ceremony (and for free) was an honour, I'd suggest, recommend a visit.

I purchased the Carole King Tapestry LP just over 40 years ago and had not played it for the last 10. Just had to go to this musical as I knew nothing about her life and was keen to hear the story. I am so pleased that I went. She was such a prolific songwriter and so talented. The cast put on a great show- You will feel 'the earth move under your feet ' !

Went last night and had an unforgettable experience! If you haven't been to see Kynren yet, you are missing an incredible spectacle- made all the more amazing as the whole show depends on incredible, selfless volunteers, Everything, from booking to leaving the car park- still buzzing from what we had witnessed- was well organised and seamless. Everyone we met, from the carpark attendants to the marshals and cast, were professional and pleasant and it was very obvious how proud they were to be associated with the production. The show itself was breath-taking-the effects, music and of course, the wonderful cast, (who evidently enjoyed themselves as much as we did) made it a truly moving and unique experience which was over far too quickly! Please do yourselves a favour, do not miss out- go and see it!
