Dedicated to Ayi, who brought water to Pondicherry, this is a beautiful peaceful place to spend some time in the lap of mother nature. There are not many activities that can be done in the park, but one can definitely come here to relax.

The beach road view is awesome, it turns its color and provide a unique experience at different times of the day. The early morning walk gives a splendid view of Sunrise, the day time view gives a beautiful glimpse of the French Architecture and the late evening walk gives a fresh, calm mood and beautiful night life view.

This place is a memorial dedicated to the fallen soldier - soldiers who died fighting for the country during the Kargil war of 1999. It is a very solemn moment when you go and see the place - there is only a gun and a soldier's helmet.

If you love monuments and history French War memorial one that you must visit that is close to Rock Beach of Pondicherry. The monument is in snow White and there is a statue. The park is small but very well maintained. But you can look at it from only outside there is no entry for it.
